The conversation around endocrine disruptors is growing, and so is our understanding of their impact 🔬

Join Dr. Pamela W. Smith for a closer look at endocrine disrupting chemicals and what they may mean in a clinical context. This session explores how these compounds interact with hormone pathways, where exposure commonly occurs, and how they may influence systems such as the immune, neuroendocrine, and cardiovascular systems. With a focus on Bisphenol A (BPA), Dr. Smith will also share insights into associated health conditions and review emerging approaches being explored to support removal.

💡 Bring your questions. Dr. Smith will be answering them live at the end of the session.

Women’s sexual health is shaped by more than hormones alone.

Join ZRT expert Danielle Osborne, PhD, as she explores how endocrine and neurological systems work together to influence sexual health. She will walk through key hormonal pathways, neurochemical influences, and the clinical factors that can help guide patient care.

This session is designed to help connect the science to what you are seeing in practice, especially in cases where symptoms are not always straightforward.

The conversation will be moderated by ZRT clinician Beth Baldwin, ND, who will help guide the discussion and lead a live Q&A. She will bring additional clinical perspective and help address real-world questions from attendees.

Whether you are supporting patients through hormonal shifts or working through more complex cases, this webinar offers insights you can take back into practice.

This Earth Day 🌎, we’re focused on how thoughtful lab practices can reduce unnecessary waste in healthcare.

At ZRT, that starts with how testing is designed. Low-volume workflows, efficient processing at scale, and streamlined systems all help reduce excess materials without compromising quality. 🧪

That same approach extends to collection, from organic cotton filter paper in place of plastic containers to at-home options that reduce travel, along with digital instructions to minimize paper use. 📦

Our single-tube saliva panels are part of this evolution, using only what is needed to support a simpler collection experience, with single time-point testing also available within our traditional four-tube kit to support a wider range of testing needs.

Visit zrtlab.com to learn more about our single-tube saliva panels.

🌻 March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, a time to bring attention to a condition that affects an estimated 1 in 10 women worldwide.

Endometriosis is a complex condition influenced by hormonal signaling, particularly estrogen activity. Research continues to explore how hormonal regulation and inflammatory processes contribute to the growth and persistence of endometrial-like tissue outside the uterus.

Advances in laboratory science are helping clinicians better measure and understand these hormone dynamics. At ZRT Laboratory, we continue to improve how steroid hormones are measured in saliva and dried blood spot samples, helping clinicians gain clearer insight into hormone activity.

🔬 Interested in the science behind improved hormone measurement?

Join Dr. David Zava for an upcoming webinar where he will discuss why ZRT transitioned from conventional immunoassays to LC-MS/MS for measuring steroid hormones in saliva and dried blood spot samples.

In this session, Dr. Zava will explain:

• The technical differences between immunoassays and LC-MS/MS
• Why LC-MS/MS provides more accurate measurement of steroid hormones
• How certain hormone therapies can interfere with immunoassay results

💡 The webinar will conclude with a live Q&A session.

🧪 What’s behind ZRT’s recent laboratory upgrade?

Join Dr. David Zava, PhD — Founder, CEO, and Chief Scientist of ZRT Laboratory as he takes a deeper look at the science guiding ZRT’s transition to LC-MS/MS for measuring steroid hormones in saliva and dried blood spot samples.

In this webinar, Dr. Zava will explain how testing methodology can influence hormone measurements and why this shift improves the specificity of steroid hormone testing.

In this session, we’ll also explore:

• The technical differences between immunoassays and LC-MS/MS
• Why immunoassays may be less accurate when hormone levels are low
• How certain hormone therapies can influence results depending on the testing method used

💡 The presentation will conclude with a live Q&A session with Dr. Zava.
