Honored to be part of such a powerful gathering at the United Nations for the Global Women Leadership Summit & Impact Award Ceremony, chaired by Jing Zhang Cesarone.
This was a POWERHOUSE of convening of global leaders, innovators, investors, and changemakers committed to advancing women’s leadership and accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals toward 2030.
One of the most important conversations pertaining to the WTC Delaware TRADE for me was centered on capital access and investment power. Around the world, women continue to lead with vision, resilience, and innovation, yet too many still face barriers to the funding, networks, and market opportunities needed to scale their businesses and expand their impact.
Access to capital is more than a financial issue. It is an economic development issue, a leadership issue, and a global competitiveness issue. When women have greater access to investment, markets, and strategic partnerships, they do not just grow companies they create jobs, strengthen communities, and help shape a more inclusive and prosperous global economy.
This summit brought together a powerhouse of speakers and thought leaders who are helping move this conversation from inspiration to action. I am grateful to Jing Zhang Cesarone for her leadership in creating a platform that elevates women’s voices, global collaboration, and the urgent need to build stronger pathways to capital and opportunity.
The future economy will be shaped by those who ensure that women are not simply included in the conversation, but fully empowered to lead it.
