WE’RE GROWING OUR GATHER. 🔥

As we head back to the river for another season, we’re building the small but mighty team that will help hold what Gather is becoming.

We’re currently hiring a Site + Community Operations Manager and two part-time Sauna Hosts.

These aren’t quite your typical spa jobs.

We’re wood-fired. We’re outdoors. There is fire to tend, cold water to care for, wood to carry, spaces to make beautiful, people to welcome, and a whole lot of little details that add up to someone walking away feeling deeply cared for.

We call that Hygge Hospitality/Hygge Healing — our belief that warmth, coziness, mindful presence, nature and genuine hospitality can be healing in and of themselves.

Our Sauna Hosts are the humans who bring that experience to life.

And our new Site + Community Operations Manager will be our operational right hand at the river — owning the day-to-day site and team while also helping us build programming, partnerships, community and what comes next for Gather.

We’re looking for people who are warm and capable. Independent and collaborative. People who notice things. People who follow through. People who care about self, community and nature — and are excited by the messy, creative energy of helping a small business grow.

Experience in hospitality, sauna/wellness, operations, events, community building, content or related worlds is wonderful.

But character matters a whole lot to us, too.

Our work is seasonal and booking-driven, so flexibility with hours, evenings/weekends and changing shoulder-season schedules is important.

We’ve not been overly transparent about what’s been going on with Gather lately - some of that has been the result of overwhelm as a small business founder/operator TBH, and all the many unexpected obstacles we often face. And it’s hard to always communicate well through rapid changes and moving targets! And I think we needed a breather, a quick hiatus to find our footing again.
But we strive to keep you in the loop as much as possible! So here’s some of what’s been going behind the scenes and some hints about where we may be pointed. It’s with great sadness that we are sharing the news that our dearest Brianne is moving on from Gather. She has blessed us with 3 seasons of giving her full heart and soul to Gather and to each and every one of you and every single session. We know that she touched so many lives with her warmth and joyfulness and made so many of your days brighter! We will miss her dearly, which is an understatement. Join us in wishing her well in her next endeavors! We are so thankful for all that you gave to Gather and our community! 🙏🏼😭❤️💕😘

Now just imagine how the sauna steam moves with the waves of the fan! Let me tell you, it’s divine ✨ I’ll be sharing some of this magic soon in some group and individual nervous system rituals this starting this Summer.
I’ve been pondering the future of for some time now and I can feel some shifts coming that I’ll be sharing more about at things come more into focus. All good things though! Not to worry!

A new season and a NEW WEEKLY RHYTHM! We’ve out together a new weekly flow of sauna gatherings that we hope will deepen community within our sauna fam and perhaps even make public sessions more inviting, at ease and relaxed for folks of all different strokes + plus offering some new and unique programming that we guarantee you can’t get anywhere else!! This is a starting place but we’ll be adding to the flow with more collabs as the summer flows! Reach out to us if you’re interested in a collab OR if you have a special interest/cultural group that would like to meet regularly at the sauna!

SO MUCH GOODNESS to celebrate Mom! And we want to recognize all the versions of momming including fur moms, moms in waiting, those grieving moms, those still trying or not able to be a biological mom, step moms, and anything in between - we’re a safe place to rest and rejuvenate and you all deserve it 💜🩵🙌🏼

Ok, GATHER FAM, maybe I need to do more regular IG updates because there is SO much that’s been going on that this video is 18 mins long!! But if you want DEETS (the GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY) of what’s been going on and what’s in store then hang with me for a few - maybe on your commute or while walking your dog or go take a quick grounding lay in the grass! Heck if you try to drive across town in Bend right now, you’ll be able to listen to the whole message AND be entertained while you do!

You guys!!! It’s almost the end of RIVER SEASON this year and my golly it felt like it went by quick!
We want to CELEBRATE with YOU before we pack up and head to our additional new year-round location (woot woot!!). It’s a SAUNA PARTY!! 🍃💚💫🌊🎉
