This is your reminder that rest is productive too.

So many adults — especially women — are running on empty trying to keep up with everything and everyone.

Take the walk. Drink the coffee slowly. Put the phone down for a bit. Schedule the appointment you’ve been putting off.

Your health matters too.

Take care of yourself this week.

One of the best parts of living in Central Oregon?

Fresh air. Open trails. Movement. Community. Open trails.

One of the things I love most about Bend is how many people genuinely value wellness and being outdoors.

Healthcare should support the life you actually want to live — not just treat problems once they happen.

Enjoy the sunshine this weekend ☀️

One of the hardest parts of modern healthcare is that many people only seek care once something becomes severe.

Preventive care matters.

Labs. Blood pressure. Hormones. Sleep. Stress. Nutrition. Weight. Screenings. Mental health. Movement.

Small changes over time can make a huge difference in long-term health.

Healthcare should support wellness — not just illness.

Small clinic. Personal care. Intentional medicine.

One thing I love about owning a small practice is the ability to slow healthcare down again.

Patients are not just “15-minute slots.”

I wanted to create a clinic where people feel comfortable asking questions, talking openly, and feeling like their provider actually knows them.

That’s one of the biggest differences with Direct Primary Care.

Healthcare becomes more personal again.

Curious about DPC? I’m happy to answer questions.

Women are often the last person they take care of.

Women carry a lot.

Careers.
Kids.
Schedules.
Aging parents.
Mental load.
Everyone else’s appointments.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that… their own health gets pushed down the list.

I see this every day.

One of the biggest goals of Alpine Wellness is making healthcare feel more approachable and less overwhelming for busy women and families.

You deserve healthcare that gives you time, support, and space to ask questions.

If you’ve been putting your health off, this is your sign to start.

Most people don’t realize healthcare can feel different than this.

Many patients come to Direct Primary Care after feeling frustrated for years.

Rushed visits.
Long waits.
Difficulty getting answers.
Feeling like just another number.

Healthcare should feel calmer than that.

At Alpine Wellness DPC, appointments are longer, communication is direct, and patients have real access to their provider.

That means more time for:
✔ Prevention
✔ Questions
✔ Wellness planning
✔ Hormones
✔ Weight management
✔ Primary care
✔ Actually being heard

I offer free 30-minute Discovery Calls because finding the right healthcare fit matters.

Let’s see if Alpine Wellness feels like home for your healthcare.

Remembering those who gave everything.

Today is about remembrance. ❤️

For many families, Memorial Day carries much more than BBQs and long weekends. It carries memories, sacrifice, grief, gratitude, and love.

As a healthcare provider — and as someone married to a Combat Veteran — I never take that sacrifice lightly.

To all of the military families carrying the absence of someone they love, we remember with you today.

I hope everyone is able to slow down a little, spend time outdoors, connect with loved ones, and take care of themselves this weekend.

Still on the fence about Direct Primary Care? Here's the zero-pressure way to find out if it's right for you.

I offer a free 30-minute Discovery call for anyone curious about DPC.

No sales pitch. No commitment. Just a conversation.

We'll talk about:
→ What your current healthcare situation looks like
→ What DPC actually includes (and doesn't)
→ Whether my practice is a good fit for you and your family
→ What the membership costs and how to get started

If it's not the right fit, I'll tell you honestly. I'd rather you find the right care than push you toward something that doesn't serve you.

But if it is the right fit — you could have your first appointment booked within the week.

Click the link in my bio to schedule your free call. Takes 60 seconds.

And if you know someone in Bend who's been frustrated with healthcare — please share this post. You might be the reason they finally find something better.

Bend is a mountain biker's paradise — and the ER docs here will confirm it.

A few things I talk through with my active patients this time of year:

🪖 Helmets aren't optional. MIPS-certified helmets significantly reduce rotational brain injury. A concussion protocol starts with me — not the urgent care.

💥 Know the difference between sore and injured. Muscle soreness after a tough ride is normal. Sharp, localized joint pain is not. Don't push through the second kind.

🩹 Wound care matters more at altitude. Cuts and scrapes heal slower in dry, high-altitude environments. Clean thoroughly, keep moist, watch for infection.

🦴 Bone density is worth knowing. If you're over 45 and active, knowing your bone density helps you understand your fracture risk — and train accordingly.

🌡️ Hydration on the trail: By the time you feel thirsty, you're already behind. Aim for at least 16–20 oz of water per hour of riding.

DPC is perfect for active people — because when something happens, I'm reachable and I already know your history.

Stay safe out there, Bend.
