Yesterday was one of the luckiest days of the year. We called in our creative energy and asked… “how do you most want to be expressed?”

What an absolute blast.

Thank you to everyone who stepped onto the dance floor and let your wild, weird, playful, sassy, beautiful inner light shine. There is something magical that happens when a group of humans decides to stop worrying about looking cool and starts fully showing up.

And Joshua Tree Music Festival continues to amaze me year after year. Somehow this community always manages to rise above and beyond, creating one of the most welcoming, creative, connected, and heart-centered experiences I’ve ever encountered.

This is why I keep coming back.
This is why we dance.
This is why GROOVEment exists.

To remember that we’re alive. To connect. To play. To celebrate being human together.

I’ve been carrying a dream for a long time...

A dream of creating a space where people can reconnect to themselves, each other, and the wisdom of their bodies.

A place where mindfulness, movement, meditation, music, yoga, dance, creativity, and play all live under one roof.

Where we remember that being human isn’t something we figure out in our heads alone.

It’s something we experience... together.

For over 40 years, these practices have shaped my life. For 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing them as a teacher, facilitator, coach, performer, and guide.

Through all of it, one thing has become clear:

We are hungry for connection. Connection to ourselves. Connection to each other. Connection to something alive inside us.

I am hungry for this connection!

From Shaky Voice To Hollywood Fringe Festival!

A year ago, my client Noadiah struggled with confidence in his voice. There was hesitation, self-doubt, and a tendency to hold back.

Can anyone relate?

Instead of waiting to feel fearless, he kept showing up. He practiced. He stretched. He trusted the process.

And little by little, his authentic voice began to emerge.

Today, Noadiah is performing his one-man show at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. 🎭✨How cool is that?!

Not only is he telling his story on stage, he’s belting out a Disney song with confidence, heart, and unapologetic bravado. This makes my heart sing!

He recently shared this about his experience:

“Working with Alyssa and her Core Voice program made my seemingly impossible jump to the next level of expression not just possible, triumphant!

Her program helped me find both my true voice along with the ever important joy in delivering what I came here to do.

I went from having a shaky and subdued passive voice to performing at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.”

Not because everyone needs to become a performer. But because everyone deserves to trust their voice.
