What’s in your grocery bag is a brain health decision.
I’m teaming up with to flood the feed for Brain Health Month, and this is the tip I bring up most. People who follow a Mediterranean diet most closely have a lower risk of cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s, with some studies showing up to 30% lower risk. It protects your blood vessels and lowers the inflammation that drives decline years before symptoms appear.
More leafy greens. More olive oil. More fish. Less processed food.
You’ll find me at the Bethesda Farmers Market most months. Medicine works better when it’s part of the neighborhood.
