Most people arrive for their first EBOO session having read a great deal about the therapy and almost nothing about how to prepare for it.

Preparation is simple. It also meaningfully affects how the session goes.

Hydrate for the full day before. Well-hydrated blood moves more efficiently through the circuit and makes IV placement considerably easier. This is the single most useful thing you can do.

Eat beforehand. Not a light snack. A proper meal with protein and healthy fats, one to two hours prior, keeps blood sugar stable across a session that runs 60 to 75 minutes.

Skip alcohol and heavy caffeine. Both work against hydration, which is the thing you just spent a day building.

Wear short sleeves. Two IV lines, one in each arm. Comfortable clothing makes the whole hour easier.
