2. What is your experience in healthcare? 2 years volunteer EMS, 6.5 years Emergency Department, and 3 months on the Flight Crew

3. What is your favorite thing about your job? Every call is something different!

4. Coffee, energy drink, or willpower? Energy drinks, as much caffeine as I can legally consume 🧋

5. What is your go-to on shift snack? Cheetos!

6. What is one thing you always have in your flight bag? Multiple types of tape and trauma shears ✂️

7. What is your favorite thing to do in your days off? Hang out with my dogs 🐶🐾

Breast cancer has touched so many families, friends, and communities. This month, we want to stand together in support of the women who are currently fighting, have fought, and those we remember.

We’re excited to be attending the 27th Annual North Dakota Statewide Trauma Conference!

We’re looking forward to connecting with so many of the amazing people who work in trauma care across North Dakota and catching up with familiar faces along the way!

And of course, we’re bringing a little something with us! We’ll have a Bismarck Air Medical trauma essential give away at the conference!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🩷

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in the United States, and early detection can make a difference. Regular screenings, knowing your risk, and being aware of changes in your body are all important steps in taking care of your health.

🎀 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
🎀 Men can get breast cancer too, although it is much less common.
🎀 When breast cancer is found early and is still localized, the 5-year relative survival rate is about 99%.

To every survivor, fighter, caregiver, and loved one: we see you, we support you, and we stand with you.💗

This month and always, let's continue to spread awareness, encourage screenings, support one another, and remind the people around us that they are never alone.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, loved ones, colleagues, and the entire REACH Air Medical Services team during this difficult time.

We may wear different flight suits, but we are one air medical community. We stand together, support one another, and keep those who serve alongside us in our thoughts.❤️

We are heartbroken by the tragic helicopter accident involving a REACH Air Medical Services aircraft. This is an incredibly difficult situation, and our hearts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.

While some information is being reported publicly, our priority is supporting the families and loved ones of those directly affected. Out of respect for the time, care, and privacy they deserve, we are choosing not to share additional details about those involved at this time.

Our gratitude goes to the first responders assisting with the ongoing response, including the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Lifeguard Division, the U.S. Coast Guard, NTSB and the many partner agencies that responded swiftly last night.

Today, we honor our colleagues who dedicated themselves to lifesaving work in service to others, and we grieve alongside the families and all those whose lives have been forever changed by this tragedy.

Our crew stopped for a quick lunch at one of their favorite burger joints, Burger Dive in Billings, MT! 🍔

While they were there, the chef, Uriah, asked the crew to sign a menu so he could hang it up on the wall. Of course, we said yes!
