Come Play Outside

Come Play Outside Joyfully and playfully guiding you to discover nature again!

Rain changes the whole sensory landscape. 🌧️🌿

Colors deepen. Leaves glisten. The air cools. That wonderful earthy smell rises from the ground. And the grass becomes cool and soft beneath bare feet.

It’s one of my favorite times to step outside and simply notice.

No hike required. No special equipment. a few barefoot minutes in the yard after the rain — feeling the temperature, the texture of the grass, the damp earth and the air on your skin.

That’s nature connection, too.

And sometimes, the smallest ways of getting outside are the ones that bring us right back to ourselves.

🌱 Tell me: when was the last time you walked barefoot in wet grass?

Apparently, time with your girlfriends is good for more than your soul. 💜

The reel says it best: get together more often, gather more women, live longer.

We can’t promise you extra years at CAMP 😉 — but we can promise a weekend filled with the things that make life feel fuller: connection, laughter, creativity, nature, play and being completely PRESENT with the women around you.

🍂 Come Play Outside CAMP: PRESENCE
October 23–25 • Highland Lake, NY

Come with your girlfriends or come on your own — there’s a whole community waiting for you here.

Maybe this is your sign. 🌿💜

The SUPER monarch butterflies are being born!

The monarchs emerging now are part of the Methuselah generation — unlike summer monarchs that live just a few weeks, these incredible butterflies can live 8–9 months.

And they’re about to do something extraordinary: fly thousands of miles to the mountains of Mexico… to a place they’ve never been using their innate GPS system.

So when you spot a monarch right now, give her a little extra love. You may be looking at a tiny traveler preparing for the journey of a lifetime. 🧡

Nature is WILD.

Last Tuesday nights are for making a little magic. 🌿✨

This week’s Eco Arts Craft Class was such a good one! We got our hands messy creating spider plant kokedamas, welcomed lots of brand-new crafters, caught up with familiar faces, laughed a LOT, and somehow everyone went home with their own perfectly imperfect little green creation. 💚

There’s just something special about gathering around a table and making something with your own two hands — especially in the cozy goodness of Glenwild Garden Center.

And a SUPER BIG thank you to Marybeth Levandoski for nurturing and donating the spider plant babies!!!!

And we’re already dreaming about the next one… 🍄🧚‍♀️✨

🏡 WOODLAND FAIRY COTTAGES
Tuesday, September 29 • 6:30 PM
Glenwild Garden Center

We’ll be creating the most precious little woodland cottages from natural treasures — complete with bark, moss, acorns, autumn touches and a warm little glow from within. ✨

If this one is calling your inner fairy, don’t wait for “maybe.” 🧚‍♀️

There’s still a little room for a little Moss & Magic 🌿✨

Join me THIS Tuesday evening at Glenwild Garden Center for our next EcoArts Craft Class, where we’ll be creating a whimsical hanging garden inspired by the Japanese art of Kokedama.

We’ll wrap a spider plant into its own mossy little world — no pot needed! — and turn it into a living piece of art to hang at home. 🌱

Tuesday, August 25 • 6:30 PM
Glenwild Garden Center • Bloomingdale, NJ

This is one of those projects that looks impressive but is completely doable — no artistic experience necessary. Just come ready to get your hands a little dirty and have some fun.

🌿 A few seats are still available!
Grab one and come play outside with us. 💚

Right there in my neighbor’s front yard… and, as if that weren’t magical enough, just steps from their fairy garden. 🧚🍄

In old folklore, fairy circles — naturally occurring rings of mushrooms—were believed to appear where fairies had gathered to dance beneath the moonlight. Some traditions considered them mysterious places best admired from the outside, while others saw finding one as a sign of good fortune, enchantment, and a little fairy mischief nearby.

They don’t appear everywhere, and catching one while it’s fresh and perfectly formed feels like stumbling upon one of nature’s tiny secrets.

And this one? Beside a fairy garden?!

I’m choosing to believe the fairies had a party last night. 🧚‍♀️✨🍄

Today I got to spend some time with my friend — and next month’s Soft Escape collaborator — Judy DeJosia at Purple Crow Gardens. 💜🌿

There’s something pretty incredible about standing in a place that once existed only in someone’s imagination. Hard work, a clear vision and a whole lot of love have turned Judy’s dream into a beautiful reality… and she’s not done yet. There are even more plans in the works to make this little slice of heaven more magical. ✨

And next month, WE GET TO PLAY HERE!

🌸 FLOWERS & FAE SOFT ESCAPE 🌸
Saturday, September 12 • 9am–1pm
at Purple Crow Gardens, West Milford, NJ

We’ll spend the morning among the flowers with a little breakfast, flower picking & arranging, forest bathing, creativity, a touch of fae magic and plenty of time to simply wander, breathe and enjoy this beautiful place.

I just wanted to give you a little glimpse of the goodness that’s waiting for us. 💜

🌿 A little upside-down garden magic…

Join us for our next EcoArts Craft Class at Glenwild Garden Center as we create an upside-down Spider Plant Kokedama — a wonderfully whimsical twist on the Japanese art of growing plants in moss-covered balls.

We’ll get our hands in the moss, play with plants, and create a living piece of art to hang at home. No experience needed — just come ready to create and play. 💚
