Summer's not quite over yet....but I do enjoy Fall activities, including apple picking! Did you know that green apples have a slightly lower sugar content than red apples, due to their higher malic acid content? While I enjoy a good homemade apple pie, healthier options with your apples include apple nachos or an apple crisp with oatmeal topping!

Many wonder whether green and red apples actually differ nutritionally – or if choosing one over the other really matters.
