Recently, we welcomed Erin and Tiffany from Wonder Pelvic Therapy & Wellness to Beyond Pilates for their first session on the reformer.

Pelvic health and Pilates are both rooted in deep core function, breath, and the kind of precise movement that changes how your body feels from the inside out.
Pelvic floor dysfunction affects more people than most realize and it’s one of the most undertreated aspects of physical health.

What Wonder Pelvic does in the treatment room and what we do on the reformer are two sides of the same conversation.

We’re grateful for the excellent care they provide our community, and we were thrilled to welcome them to the studio.

165 miles. 6 days. On a bike.

That’s what one of our clients accomplished recently, and she credited her Pilates practice for making it possible.

We didn’t train her on a bike, we trained her body to take her through the ride.

The strength, endurance, and stability to stay in the saddle for days is what she built with the help of Pilates.

This is what a consistent practice does. It builds capacity that shows up beyond the reformer.

Foot articulation is a cornerstone of the Pilates method, and one of the most overlooked elements in fitness.

Maybe we should rename this “Hug a Beachball” 🫶

Brooke’s explanation is truly what makes this exercise so effective...

Stable shoulder blades means activating the pecs and shoulder girdle stabilizers, creating a targeted approach to building upper body strength.

That’s what Pilates is: not just doing the exercise, but understanding how to do it well.
