Please join us for our September Renal Webinar “Patient Centered Interventions for PEW: IDPN Past, Present and Future" presented by our very own, Dr. Amer Khan, MD, Medical Director.

The webinars will take place on Tuesday, September 22nd at 12pm (EST) and Wednesday, September 23rd at 2pm (EST). Protein Energy Wasting (PEW) is associated with poor clinical outcomes in patients receiving dialysis and often requires individualized nutrition interventions. This webinar will explore patient-centered strategies for addressing PEW, review key literature evaluating the evidence and outcomes associated with Intradialytic Parenteral Nutrition (IDPN), and examine how recommendations for IDPN have evolved by comparing past and current clinical guidelines. Attendees will gain practical insights to support evidence-based nutrition care for patients at risk of or experiencing PEW.

As an official American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition - ASPEN Malnutrition Awareness Week Ambassador, Pentec Health is proud to join healthcare organizations across the country in raising awareness of malnutrition and the importance of nutrition care.

Across healthcare settings, an estimated 32–40% of adult patients are malnourished, with older adults among those at greatest risk.

And nutrition risk doesn't begin at the hospital door. Up to 40% of older adults living in the community have malnutrition, underscoring the importance of recognizing nutrition concerns early.

Malnutrition Awareness Week is September 14–18, and we'll be sharing more facts and insights throughout the month about malnutrition, nutrition support and the importance of recognizing patients who may be at risk.

Follow along as we help raise awareness and reinforce the message that nutrition care is a team effort.

We’re honored to join the 2026 Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Annual Conference, bringing together veterans, caregivers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals committed to improving life after spinal cord injury.

For many veterans living with spinal cord injury, managing complex conditions is a lifelong journey. Targeted drug delivery, including intrathecal therapy, can play an important role in managing certain symptoms while reducing the challenges associated with systemic medication delivery.

We enjoyed reconnecting with colleagues, meeting new faces, and sharing how Pentec Health continues to simplify complex care through specialized pharmacy services and clinical support.

Congratulations to all of this year's ASPN award recipients, including Dr. Tolga Suvar on receiving the 2026 ASPN Excellence in Education Award. It was wonderful to see so many individuals recognized for their contributions to advancing pain medicine.

What a great first day at the American Society of Pain & Neuroscience (ASPN) Annual Conference!

This morning the Pentec Health team participated in the conference's hands-on intrathecal pump programming and refill lab, where clinicians had the opportunity to build practical skills, exchange expertise, and learn from experienced faculty in a collaborative environment.

We are proud to support education that advances best practices in intrathecal therapy and improves patient care.
