Last year, instED completed more than 12,500 in-home encounters with over 5,500 patients enrolled in Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and dual-eligible plans. Nearly 90% of those visits ended with the patient remaining safely at home the same day.

More than 50,000 encounters delivered to date. An 80 or higher Net Promoter Score. A 4.9 out of 5 Google rating across more than 1,600 reviews. Mobile Integrated Health providers arriving in under three hours on average.

Behind every number is a team of mobile health providers, nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners and coordinators who show up 365 days a year for patients with complex health needs, addressing acute care needs in the home as a trusted alternative to the Emergency Department.

Congratulations to instED's Medical Director Sarah Gilbert on the extraordinary honor of receiving the Leadership in Certification Award from the American Board of Physician Specialties.

Established this year to recognize Dr. Gilbert's exceptional leadership and lasting contributions, this award marks a significant milestone. Beginning next year, the award will carry her name as the Sarah E. Gilbert, MD, Leadership in Certification Award, a lasting tribute to the impact she has made and the leaders she continues to inspire.

This award recognizes an ABPS Diplomate who demonstrates exceptional and sustained dedication to leadership, excellence in certification, specialty competencies, subject matter expertise, and advocacy for lifelong learning, qualities that Dr. Gilbert has embodied throughout her remarkable career.

With 30 years of service to ABPS and 35 years in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Gilbert's impact on the profession is immense. Her contributions have included serving as past President of ABPS, Chair of the Basic Documents Committee, Member of the ABPS Board of Directors, and Director on the Board of Certification in Emergency Medicine (BCEM).

Today, Dr. Gilbert continues her commitment to improving patient care as instED's Medical Director, bringing her expertise and dedication to the hundreds of patients she serves.

A recent U.S. News survey highlighted just how heavy that burden can be:
• 42% of caregivers report feeling constantly or frequently overwhelmed
• More than 1 in 4 are providing the equivalent of a full-time job
• Many are also taking on significant out-of-pocket costs and personal sacrifices
