I've started lifting weights in 2012 during college.

It started off as bodybuilding, then a little powerlifting, dabbling in oly lifting (SHORT LIVED) & then now something that makes sense for jiu jitsu.

My goals for lifting are to stay strong enough, keep my body resilient to fend off injuries & to get comments like "your legs are strong" on the mats😌

Building a rehab & strength program for grapplers requires understanding the demands of jiu jitsu.

As you can see, it's nothing fancy. Everything we do comes down to doing the basics well. Pair that with consistency & intelligent progressions - outcomes for days.

We also firmly believe that the weight room is where you build capacity & the mats are where you build skill.

This structure has done for myself & many of our clients🤞🏼

Sometimes the expectations in traditional PT are not enough to get you back to jiu jitsu.

Heidi experienced this & was still not confident enough to get back to training. 3 months later, she's stronger than ever, back on a regular training schedule & can trust her knee again during rounds.
