🎉 Employee of the Month: Rae! 🎉

Rae is our Doctor in Training and has been a wonderful addition to the Taproot team.

She has completed all of her coursework to become a Doctor of Chiropractic and is currently working through the final steps of her board exams. In the meantime, she has jumped right in and become an important part of our office.

Not only is Rae a fantastic clinician, but she’s also always willing to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. Whether she’s helping patients, supporting the other doctors, or assisting around the office, she does it all with a positive attitude and a smile.

We love her upbeat personality, her dedication to learning, and most of all, the genuine care she shows for her patients every day.

Friendly reminder: We have wellness memberships! 🩵

They’ve actually become pretty popular around the office, but we’re still surprised by how many patients don’t know they exist.

If you’re someone who likes to stay consistent with your care, our memberships combine wellness adjustments, sauna, PEMF, electrical muscle stimulation, and supplement discounts into one simple package.

Many of our members love not having to think about each service individually. They just show up, take care of themselves, and enjoy the benefits.

A little Taproot wildlife update 🦌🩵

We’ve noticed several mama deer and their babies hanging around the office lately, including this tiny little one near the front of our building.

While our deer are usually very calm and accustomed to people, we want to remind everyone to be mindful when walking around the property. Baby deer can be very well camouflaged in the grass, and mama deer may be keeping a close eye nearby.

If you spot a fawn, please admire it from a distance and avoid approaching or touching it. In most cases, mom is nearby and will return for her baby.

If you’re concerned about a deer on the property, please let our team know. We’ll keep an eye on the situation and, if needed, contact the appropriate wildlife professionals.

✨ Have you tried our Class 4 LightForce laser yet? ✨

This is one of our favorite tools at Taproot for calming pain, decreasing inflammation, and supporting healing — especially when someone is hurting so much that hands-on work feels like too much.

Laser therapy is quick, comfortable, and usually takes about 4–7 minutes depending on the area being treated. Most patients feel a soothing warmth during the session, and it continues supporting the healing process after your appointment.

We commonly use it for:

Neck pain
Back pain / sciatica
Frozen shoulder
Rotator cuff injuries
Tendonitis / tendon inflammation
Plantar fasciitis
Arthritis-related joint pain
Muscle strains

Taproot Chiropractic & Wellness will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day, but we will reopen Tuesday at 8 AM.

Taproot’s Employee of the Month is Danielle 🎉

Danielle is our lead CA and one of the friendly faces that helps make patients feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door.

She does an incredible job helping therapies run smoothly, supporting patients throughout their visits, and helping train our team behind the scenes. She brings a calm, positive energy to the office and is always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed.

Danielle is a huge part of what keeps Taproot running well day to day, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she does 🩵

And as an added bonus — today (May 13th) is Danielle’s birthday 🎂 So if you see her around the office today, make sure to wish her a happy birthday!

A look at what we treated last week — Kids Week edition.

From migraines and sports injuries to bedwetting and digestion concerns, we see a wide range of things in kids — and each one requires a slightly different approach.

Care isn’t one-size-fits-all. We’re looking at how the body is moving, how the nervous system is communicating, and what that specific patient needs in that moment.

Sometimes that’s adjustments. Sometimes it’s laser, muscle work, or taping. Often it’s a combination.

The goal is always the same — support the body so it can function well and heal the way it’s designed to.

Taproot’s Employee of the Month is Keith 🎉

Many of you have seen his friendly face around the office — but what you may not see is just how much he does behind the scenes.

Keith is often the first one in the office and the last one to leave. He’s a super hard worker who takes ownership of keeping things running smoothly day to day.

He is always stepping in to support wherever he’s needed — whether that’s helping a patient with scheduling, billing, or therapies, or jumping in to support one of our doctors.

He supports Dr. Angie with the business side of things and shows up to every marketing event ready to represent Taproot well.

He is a huge asset to the practice, and we’re incredibly grateful for him.
