We want to welcome 2 new additions to our SpiritHorse Barn Family. Polly and Suzie are Nigerian Pygmy goats. This mother and daughter duo previous lived with Willa, before her donation as a therapy horse. They are now our first therapy goats in training!

14 years ago SpiritHorse Canton,, CT opened it doors for the first Equine therapy sessions.
We are excited to start the countdown to our big 15 year anniversary in the coming year. Stay tuned for lots of fun, exciting things to come!

Today our hearts are broken.

It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved therapy horse, Fargo.

Although Fargo was only with us for a short time, he made an incredible impact on so many lives. His gentle spirit, kind heart, and quiet presence brought comfort, confidence, and joy to the riders, volunteers, and families who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a special way of connecting with people, and his loss is being deeply felt throughout our SpiritHorse family.

There are never enough words to explain the bond between a therapy horse and the people whose lives they touch. Fargo gave so much of himself, and we are grateful for every moment we shared with him.

Please keep our staff, volunteers, riders, and everyone who loved Fargo in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Today we say goodbye to a truly special soul.
Daisy wasn’t just a therapy horse—she was a quiet healer, a teacher, and a friend to so many.

She carried our riders with patience, gave confidence to those who needed it most, and offered comfort without ever asking for anything in return. So many hands brushed her, so many hearts leaned on her, and she always showed up with kindness.

We will miss her more than words can say, but her impact will live on in every life she touched.
Run free, sweet girl. You did your job beautifully. 💔🐴
