Did you know that programs incorporating hypnosis have shown success rates as high as 77% over a one-year follow-up?

That's not magic. That's what happens when you stop fighting the behavior and start addressing what's underneath it.

Addictive patterns — whether substances, habits, or behaviors — are rooted in the subconscious mind. That's why willpower alone rarely creates lasting change. Willpower lives in the conscious mind. The pattern doesn't.

The Break Free From Addiction program at Impact Hypnotherapy works differently:
✔ Personalized strategy — no cookie-cutter plan
✔ 1:1 hypnotherapy sessions targeting subconscious triggers
✔ Tools for managing stress and cravings in real life
✔ Trauma-informed — we go to the emotional root, safely

This is for people who are done managing the surface and ready to change what's underneath.

Seeking insight from women living with endometriosis or adenomyosis 💛

I’m a hypnotherapist who works with women on stress recovery, pain relief tools, and restoring healthy energy rhythms in the body.

Recently I’ve been exploring how these approaches might better support women living with endometriosis and adenomyosis, especially when it comes to things like fatigue, flare ups, pain, and the stress that comes with managing a chronic condition. And I am looking to help teenage girls also.

Before creating anything, I want to listen first.

I’m hoping to speak with a small group of women who would be willing to share:

• what daily life with these conditions is really like
• what support has helped (or hasn’t)
• what kind of tools or community would actually make a difference

These would simply be 20-minute conversations to learn from your experience.

This is not a sales call and nothing is being offered yet — I’m in the listening and learning phase.

If you or someone you know is suffering with endo or adeno and you’d be open to sharing your perspective, I’d be truly grateful.

You can schedule a time to connect with me here at this scheduling link in the comments, or DM me.

Thank you to anyone willing to help shape something that could genuinely support women navigating these conditions.

If your work feels heavier than it used to, that doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It often means you care.
Caring deeply in a complicated world puts strain on the body.
Especially when you’re working inside systems that move slowly, contradict your values, or create harm you can’t immediately fix.
This kind of stress isn’t personal.
It’s human.
It’s the cost of conscience.
And if it goes unaddressed, it doesn’t just drain your energy.
It quietly erodes your steadiness, focus, and capacity to stay engaged.
STRESS S.O.S. is about restoring nervous system steadiness so your values don’t burn you out.
You don’t need to care less.
You need support that helps you stay regulated while you care.

If you don’t bounce back from stress like you used to, it’s not because you’re doing something wrong.

Most high achievers expect rest to come after the work is done.
After the deadlines.
After the responsibilities.
After the load is carried.

But stress used to move in cycles.
Pressure → release → recovery.

Now the recovery part gets skipped.

Work keeps coming.
Life doesn’t pause.
So stress piles up in the body, even when the day ends.

That’s why your body stays activated long after stress is over.
Why calm takes longer to arrive.
Why rest doesn’t come naturally anymore.

STRESS S.O.S. helps restore baseline regulation when natural recovery isn’t happening on its own.
Because sometimes support is required to help the nervous system reset.

If you’ve been wondering, “Is this just how I am now?”
This is for you.

I walked into a networking event already dysregulated.
Had been engaged in an argument with someone just minutes before and was working to get back energy to network.

Noticeably. and as per uszh, there were more men than women in the room.
I didn't set out looking for these things but
What I observed was men taking up space easily.
Talking over one another.
Interrupting.
Physically positioning themselves without much awareness of who else was there.
One guy stood right in front of me and blocked my view while the host began and I had just tapped him to notify him that the host was speaking so and asked for quiet attention.

Nothing dramatic.
Just a familiar pattern.

As a hypnotherapist, I tend to notice how environments shape behavior.
And how much quiet effort it can take to stay present in spaces that allow self-centered focus to outweigh attunement.

There were smart, interesting people there.
Creative business owners.
Ideas worth hearing.

And I was reminded how often women navigate rooms like this—at work, at school meetings, in professional circles—doing the invisible work of staying grounded, looking out for others, working to be heard and seen, engaged, and intact.

Not because anyone asked us to.
But because we know what it costs not to.

Serving others — especially in times of injustice and trauma — demands more than passion: it demands emotional regulation, grounding, and clarity. That’s what I've put together a virtual MLK Day Prep class where people who do service can learn some very helpful tools for those engaging in organizing, advocacy, leadership, and volunteering.

👀 You’re planning to serve this MLK Day—but who’s helping you prepare?

Every year, I watch passionate, purpose-driven people show up to advocate, organize, educate, and give back.

But too often, they do it while barely holding it together inside.

Showing up burnt out isn’t noble.
Emotional overload isn’t required.
And nervous system dysregulation doesn’t make your service more meaningful.

👉 If you’re volunteering, organizing, educating, or leading this read my latest article

“Before You Serve, Refuel: Why Volunteers and Organizers Need Grounding Before THIS MLK Day” Link is in first comment.

Your clarity, calm, and capacity matter just as much as the cause you’re supporting.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is often framed as a time to give back—to honor Dr. King’s legacy through action, advocacy, and service. But for many people in community-facing roles, this “day of service” doesn’t just start and end with a few volunteer hours. It’s part of a larger rhythm of ...

This year, before THIS MLKDay of Service, I want to help volunteers, immigration lawyers, advocates, educators, healthcare workers, organizers, community builders, compassionate community members, and people who engage in public service all re-fuel their energy sources and get resourced with effective self-regulation techniques so that they can help who they are helping with more “gas in the tank” and pass along amazingly effective processes to de-traumatize, release anxiety and and navigate through any challenge or hardships with a more ease… at the very least.

It won’t matter to me if you’re a US American who honors our beloved legend, Martin Luther King or someone from anywhere in the world… I want to welcome you to my free, virtual MeetUp “Before You Serve: A Grounding Experience” for relaxation, teaching innovative tools and techniques to manage your stress load - should you ever have one- and connect with others who do so much, like you.
