You can be successful and still be struggling.
Many high achievers tie their self-worth to productivity, performance, grades, career success, or constant achievement. Over time, it can become difficult to separate who you are from what you accomplish.
When achievement becomes identity:
Rest feels uncomfortable
Mistakes feel devastating
Self-esteem is dependent on external validation
Taking breaks causes guilt or anxiety
Having ambition or wanting to achieve is not the problem. The problem is when your whole identity becomes what you achieve.
Therapy can help individuals develop healthier self-worth, emotional balance, and a more sustainable relationship with success.

Weight gain during psychiatric treatment is common and can be deeply discouraging.

For some patients, GLP-1 medications may be appropriate as part of a comprehensive, medically supervised plan. At Verve Psychiatry, these medications are used thoughtfully and only when clinically indicated, never as a cosmetic solution.

Mental health always remains the priority. Read more: https://www.vervepsychiatry.com/weight-management-for-patients

Chances are you would not speak to a friend the way you sometimes speak to yourself.
Have you wondered why that is?
It could be so you can keep yourself accountable, however, it often fuels stress, shame, and burnout.
Self-compassion isn’t about letting yourself off the hook. It’s about giving yourself space to learn, grow, and move forward.
A simple place to start:
➡ ️ Ask yourself, “What would I say to someone I care about at this moment?”
Then try extending the same kindness to yourself.
