What a great day at our Adapted Gardening Event! 🌱💚 Exceptional Possibilities of WV partnered with Patriot Guardens and West Virginia Assistive Technology - WVATS to create an inclusive, hands-on experience where participants explored gardening, sensory experiences, and adaptive supports.

Patriot Gardens’ Urban Farm is making a meaningful impact by helping veterans reconnect through agriculture, workforce development, and community engagement providing opportunities to build skills in gardening, equipment maintenance, poultry care, and sustainable food production that supports our local community and restaurants in Charleston.

WVATS helped make this event accessible for all by lending and sharing resources that empower individuals of all ages and abilities to participate more fully in education, employment, and community life through assistive technology and adaptive supports.

We are excited to announce, Exceptional Possibilities of WV is one of ten nonprofits selected for the 2026–2027 Building Bridges Leadership Institute! We are happy to have co-founder Michelle Robinson representing the nonprofit.

This year-long program will help us grow as leaders, increase our reach, and further our mission of empowering and supporting exceptional families. We are very thankful for TGKVF!

The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation announces 2026 Cohort of Building Bridges Leadership Institute. Ten nonprofit leaders have been selected to receive capacity building grants and expert guidance through participant-driven leadership program. Meet Michelle Robinson.

At our recent Touch A Truck event, we set up at Universal Changing Station made possible with funding from The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation and The Sean McGinley Fund.

Universal Changing Stations are essential for fostering inclusion and accessibility by providing individuals with mobility limitations and complex needs the opportunity to participate in the community with dignity and safety!

Unfortunately, often times individuals with complex needs are unable to participate in the community to the full extent due to the lack of Universal Changing Stations available.

Did you know in Charleston there are only 2️⃣ known locations with established Universal Changing Stations? One is at the Kanawha County Public Library and the other is at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center.
