What does successful adoption actually look like?

At Tallahassee Memorial, the first hospital in the world to install AeroShield, every case still runs with it. 100% utilization, and the team kept using it well after the formative study ended.

That last part is the real signal. Radiation protection doesn’t work because someone signed off on equipment once. It is our pleasure to welcome BJ Smiley, BSRS, RT(R), ARRT to the Salus Scientific family as a full-time clinical specialist. 

BJ brings a tremendous combination of clinical and industry experience to Salus. A Registered Technologist with a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science, he spent more than a decade working in procedural labs before transitioning to industry. 

He has built a reputation for clinical excellence, collaboration, and always putting the patient-first.  

BJ’s deep understanding of imaging systems, procedural workflow, and the day-to-day needs of physicians, nurses, and technologists will be a tremendous asset as Salus continues developing and expanding our technologies in the fluoroscopy suite.
