This may be a long post, but it’s important for us to share.
Many times we hear:
-“why is IV therapy so expensive?”
-“why don’t you file insurance or accept Medicaid/Medicare?
-“(insert name here) is cheaper”
-“do you offer discounts?”
And these are just a few.
To make it simple, if you are needing IV therapy, you actually have several options.
1-the ER. You may wait for hours, you typically will have a copay of $75-$150 just to be seen, and then you’re responsible for a percentage of the visit, IF it’s even covered. That one visit could cost $500+ and exposure to whatever sickness is already floating around in the department.
2-“chain” infusion centers. You walk in, pick an IV, and you’re in and out. Larger bag? Extra cost. Add-ons? Extra cost. Sure they’ll come to you, with an added $100 mobile fee.
3-you choose Grove. You have a private suite, or the option to be seen in home by registered nurses with a combined nursing experience of over 50 years. We get to know you so your treatment is tailored for YOU, and you’re done in an hour. Full liter bags and cultivated cocktails with select nutrients based on your needs.
Insurance and government programs will never cover IV therapy because they make too much money off of your hospital treatment. That’s the American healthcare system. It’s profit over people.
IV therapy consists of the highest quality of compounded nutrients that are purchased weekly from specialized pharmacies, that are overseen by a medical director, a pharmacist, and the registered nurses. None of those things or people are cheap. If they were, you should ask yourself why.
And yes, we do actually offer discounts. We discount cash visits, we discount groups, and we heavily discount our membership program to make it more affordable for those who want to be consistent with their therapy. We don’t have to do any of that. But we do because we love helping people feel better.
So yes. You have options. But at Grove, we are people over profit. Always have been, always will be.
Choose wisely.
