Gynecomastia is much more than a cosmetic issue. For many men, it affects confidence, clothing choices, exercise, and even simple activities like going to the beach.
Before considering surgery, it is important to make sure there is not an underlying cause. Hormonal imbalances, medications, supplements, endocrine disorders, and other medical conditions should be evaluated. In some cases, what appears to be gynecomastia is actually pseudo gynecomastia—excess fat without significant glandular tissue.
When surgery is appropriate, my approach is different from the traditional general surgery technique. Rather than simply removing the gland, I use VASER ultrasound-assisted liposuction and power-assisted liposuction to sculpt the entire chest, define natural contours, and create a more athletic appearance.
Through very small incisions and, in many cases, minimal visible scarring, I can remove the glandular tissue while also addressing the surrounding fat to create a smoother, more natural result.
The goal is not just gland removal.
The goal is a masculine, balanced, natural-looking chest.
If you’ve been hitting the gym consistently, cleaning up your diet, and doing everything “right” but still feel self-conscious about your chest, you’re not alone.
For this patient, the transformation wasn’t just physical. He spent years hiding behind oversized shirts and avoiding situations that made him feel uncomfortable.
Today, he no longer thinks about his chest at all.
That’s what makes this procedure so rewarding.
It’s not just about changing a chest.
It’s about restoring confidence.
