3 tips to afford healthy food for weight loss
I was shocked to have only spent $200 smacks leaving the store today with a full cart of groceries.
Here's what I did differently:
1. I went ALONE. No child. No husband. No other shopping opinions. 10/10 recommend.
2. I skipped the stuff-I-want-but-dont-need aisle. Aldi, you know me well...yes I want that travel char-coots board. But not today.
3. I planned SIMPLE meals with SIMPLE ingredient. Like grilled chicken, rice, and salad. It's not boring if you flavor stuff well.
4. I didn't buy much for processed foods. Prepare pizzas, frozen dinners, etc eat up the budget. Again, planning simple meals and focusing on buying ingredients saves bucks.
Doing these relatively simple things, I got out of there pretty cheap today. I'm mostly set for the next couple weeks (we have meat in the freezer, in case you're wondering).
Follow along for more shopping tips, plus ideas for these simple meals I keep talking about. 😀
