Feeling overwhelmed by hormone advice isn't a you problem, it's an information problem. Everyone's yelling something different, and most of it skips the "why," so it just feels like more pressure.

Here's the truth: you don't need to fix everything at once. You need 3 foundations- blood sugar, protein and sleep/stress management.

In my practice, we build one layer at a time. No overhauls, no all or nothing.

Four snack mistakes I see constantly and the fixes are small.

Not all bars are created equal. Fruit alone won't hold you for hours. Naked rice cakes are a snack, not a meal. And skipping snacks entirely is how you end up eating everything at 5pm.

The pattern behind all four: protein + fiber + fat. That's what turns a snack into something that actually holds you.

Swipe through for the specifics, then tell me, what's your go-to?

5 nutrients that support fertility and where to actually get them.

A prenatal vitamin is the foundation, but food does something a supplement can't. Nutrients from real food are more bioavailable, so what's on your plate is working alongside your prenatal, not competing with it.

Swipe for the list:

Iron: ovulation and healthy blood volume. Red meat, liver, oysters, dark leafy greens (add vitamin C for absorption).

Choline:baby's brain and neural tube development, and most people fall short. Egg yolks, liver, salmon.

Omega-3s: hormone production and egg quality. Salmon, sardines, mackerel, egg yolks.

Folate: the form your body uses most efficiently, unlike synthetic folic acid. Liver, leafy greens, legumes, avocado

Protein: hormone building blocks and stable blood sugar, which matters for ovulation. Eggs, meat, fish, Greek yogurt, legumes.

Food first, plus healthy supplementation. Save this for your next grocery run.

3 PCOS/PMOS myths I wish I could unlearn

Myth 1: You need to cut all carbs. Carbs aren't the enemy. Pairing them with protein and fiber to steady blood sugar matters far more than cutting them out, and restriction often backfires.

Myth 2: PCOS/PMOS = infertility. It's a leading cause of ovulation issues, not a guarantee of infertility. Many people conceive naturally or with support like ovulation induction.

Myth 3: It's just about weight loss. PCOS/PMOS is a hormonal and metabolic condition, and lean PCOS/PMOS exists too. In my experience weight loss isn't what improves it. Supporting hormone health improves symptoms, and weight loss often follows from there.

Pumpkin spice protein latte, 42 g of protein in a coffee cup.

This is the one I make when I want the fall drink without the 400-calorie sugar situation. It takes about three minutes.

10 oz ultra filtered 2% milk, 1 serving vanilla protein powder, 2 shots pumpkin spice espresso, 1 serving sugar free pumpkin spice syrup.

No pumpkin spice espresso on hand? Brew regular espresso straight over pumpkin pie spice and you get the same thing.

308 calories, 42 g protein, 18 g carbs, 9 g fat.

Save this for your next cold morning.

The doors are OPEN 🚪

Nourish Your Hormones is here and it's built for the woman who's tired of being told her labs are "normal" while she's dragging at 3pm and wide awake at 11.

Inside you'll get: → A self-paced course to understand what's actually going on inside your body → A group feed to ask the questions you'd rather not Google → Monthly group calls → A resource library → 1:1 calls with me

No food rules. No macro math. Just eating that works with your hormones, not against them.

This is the work I wish every woman had access to food-first, judgment-free, and grounded in real physiology instead of guesswork.

Link in bio to join. You don't wanna miss out. 🤍

Three things new members said when they joined Nourish Your Hormones:

"I'm looking forward to connecting with others and resources that support a healthy approach to hormonal and physical health."

"I feel like I've tried several types of 'dieting' and nothing works or it's so difficult to follow I can't be consistent."

"I joined to learn more about my hormones and I am looking forward to using what I learn to support my body and give it what it needs throughout hormonal changes."

Different starting points, same thread: wanting to understand their bodies instead of fighting them.

If that sounds like you, we go live 9/1. Get on my email list for the reminder, link in bio.
