Thank You 💙💙💙

A huge thank you to Hannah and Marquita for welcoming us and allowing us to tour your facilities! We truly appreciate the opportunity to see the work environment firsthand.

Factory tours are such a valuable asset to the nurse case manager’s role. They give us a better understanding of an employee’s regular duties, the physical demands of the position, and the work environment. Most importantly, they help us advocate for both the employee and the employer in the exam room by identifying meaningful, safe light-duty opportunities when appropriate.

Thank you, Hannah and Marquita, for your time, hospitality, and partnership. We appreciate all that you do! 💙

Need case management support for your team? We’re here to help! JMS works alongside adjusters, employers, employees, and healthcare providers to help navigate the return-to-work process, identify appropriate light-duty options, and keep communication moving in the right direction. Reach out to learn how we can support your organization!

🎉 Celebrating 8 Years with JMS Consulting! 🎉

Today, we’re celebrating Arrah Jones, RN, CCM, and her incredible eight years with JMS Consulting, LLC! 💙

Arrah brings a wealth of nursing and case management experience to every individual she serves—from Critical Care and bedside nursing to Hospice and workers’ compensation case management.

In Arrah’s words:

“Case Management has been a huge part of my nursing career, from bedside nursing in the Critical Care arena, where you are coordinating critical medical care while being engaged with patients and families during a difficult time, to coordinating care among multiple disciplines in close communication with physicians, vendors, patients and families while setting up very complicated discharges to home.

Both of these assisted in my career with Hospice, where you are meeting people at the worst times of their lives and making sure that communication and coordination of care is done across multiple providers and caregivers.

All of this led me to JMS Consulting, LLC, where I am able to put all of this experience to use while being employed with a company based on Christian values and integrity and working with Carriers and Employers who share the goal of meeting the needs of individuals who have experienced an acute work-related injury.

Catastrophic injuries have my heart, as it takes me back to my medical roots, and helping injured workers at every level has my passion. Looking forward to more years with JMS Consulting, LLC.”

Arrah’s clinical expertise, compassion, and dedication make her an invaluable part of the JMS team. Her commitment to helping injured workers navigate complex cases truly makes a difference. ❤️

Congratulations on 8 years, Arrah! We’re grateful for all you do and look forward to many more years together! 🎉

The JMS Summer Inservice was too much fun! We started off with a family dinner of Mexican food then for some rounds of Bingo. Arrah came out victorious with winning three rounds in a row, but Melissa came up for a surprise grand prize winning round!

For our educational day we started off with our devotional then got to crown our new Queen of the Quarter! Congratulations Melissa Sipes RN, CCM for her recognition of detailed management of a recent catastrophic claim and preserving through barriers to return to work.

Drew Morgan with McMaster Physical Therapy joined us next to teach on Pain Science for Patients with and without Chronic Pain. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us, Drew!

Next we were joined by Dr. A.J. Zolten Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist who shared with us about Neuropsychological Testing: What is it and what can it tell us? Thank you to Dr. Zolten for coming to Conway to share with us!

After a wonderful lunch from McAlister's we got back to the grind with an Ethics review by President, Christina Johnson, on Ethical Communication with Injured Workers: A Clinical Perspective.

Finally, to end our day with a bang we were joined by Hanger Clinic's Matt James, MPO, CPO/L who shared with us about Ankle Orthoses.

What a great day of learning!

Have you gotten to work with Meighan Diaz, RN, CCM???

Each month we give out a prestigious award called the Blue Diva Award. This is given to the nurse who gets the most kudos from those that they work with each day. We love to hear from our adjusters and employers, or vendor partners. But what makes us also honored is when a patient takes time out of their day to sit down and complete a survey to tell us all about how their nurse case manager made a positive impact in their care.

“Meighan Diaz was exceptional. She brought a wonderful blend of medical expertise and compassion to my appointment, making me feel supported”
-Survey submitted by a patient

“She made my life easier and got everything that we needed for the client to have a functional capacity evalution and impairment rating assessment.... It is great working with a company like yours!”
-FCE Evaluator

Way to go Meighan on being our most recent Diva Award Winner! 💙

This Nurses Week, we celebrate the heart of healthcare—our nurses. 💙

At our core, nurse case managers are advocates, problem-solvers, and compassionate guides for every patient journey. You bring clarity to complexity, comfort in uncertainty, and strength when it’s needed most.

Your dedication doesn’t just change outcomes—it changes lives.

To every nurse making a difference behind the scenes and on the front lines: thank you for your expertise, your empathy, and your unwavering commitment to care.

What an amazing week of conferences! This week we attended both the Arkansas Self Insured Association ASIA conference and the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Educational Association Conference. We always love to update our training with the educational sessions and getting out to meet all the wonderful customers and vendors we work with each day. It also doesn't hurt when you love the people you work with too! 💙

What a day! Some of our favorite times are coming together at these educational days with the whole team. We started with a devotional, and our team recognition with Hi-fives, Pearls of Wisdom, and of course crowning our new Queen of the Quarter!

Congratulations to this quarter's Queen, Olivia Jackson! Olivia has shined through her work ethic, keen attention to detail and navigation of some very difficult and complex cases. Olivia serves our Memphis, northeast Arkansas, and North Mississippi territory. Congratulations Olivia!

After getting our morning started we had an updated training on navigating the ODG website for Evidence Based Guidelines. This was followed by an ethics presentation then lunch!

February is a month full of birthdays for our team so we celebrated Cheryl, Arrah and Melissa by singing happy birthday and having some cake!

Also during our lunch break we got to recognize our newest Lady in Blue, Jessica Petty, for her boot camp graduation with hosting a Blue Coat Ceremony! We are so glad to have her as part of our central Arkansas team!

After lunch we were joined by Dr. Derrick Henry from OrthoArkansas to teach us about the intricacies of ankle sprains to promote quick healing and return to work. Thank you for joining us Dr. Henry! Finally, we were joined by Casey Garretson, OTD, OTR/L, CFE, CEAS from Functional Testing Centers to discuss Functional Capacity Evaluations and Impairement ratings.

It was a day full of fun and learning and we are already looking forward to the next one!
