🎗️ September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month 🎗️

AHS HOSA is proud to partner with the Teaming Up organization to help raise funds for pediatric cancer research.

You can be part of the fight by purchasing a Gold Out shirt for $10 and wearing it—or anything gold—to our Gold Out Game on September 11! 💛

Every shirt helps support this important cause.

Because no child should have to fight cancer alone. 🎗️

🎶 Stayin’ Alive, Stayin’ Alive… 🎶

Today, 18 of our seniors completed BLS training and are officially one step closer to becoming future lifesavers! 🩺

Next up: clinicals, where they’ll get to take everything they’ve been learning in the classroom into real healthcare settings.

🎗️ GO GOLD FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER! 🎗️

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and AHS HOSA is proud to GO GOLD in support of the children and families facing childhood cancer. 💛

The numbers are a powerful reminder of why awareness and research matter:

🎗️ In 2026, an estimated 15,340 children and teens under age 20 will be diagnosed with cancer in the United States.
🎗️ Approximately 1,820 children and teens are expected to lose their lives to cancer this year.
🎗️ Cancer remains the leading disease-related cause of death among children and adolescents.
🎗️ The good news: cancer death rates have dropped dramatically since 1970, showing just how important continued research and improved treatments are. (American Cancer Society)

💛 Gold Out Shirts — $10 each!
We will begin selling shirts this week and will also have shirts available for purchase at the football game this Friday!

🏈 Be sure to wear yours to our GOLD OUT GAME on Friday, September 11!

Proceeds from shirt sales will benefit Teaming Up, which helps support pediatric cancer research.

Every shirt purchased helps us raise awareness, support research, and stand beside the kids and families fighting a battle no child should ever have to face.
