“Beyond the Bricks “ was a summer program held downtown Cynthiana this summer. Our friend and former mayor James Smith brought the experience to Cedar Ridge. Celebrating 63 years since the first graduation of Harrison County High School! 🎓 Kay, a proud Class of 1963 graduate, and her friends gather monthly at CedarRidge to enjoy card games. At her classmates request, we surprised Kay with a special class reunion featuring delicious lunch from Leono's, reminiscing over photos and stories of old friendships. Seeing Kay's bright smile all day reminded us that dreams truly are possible at any age. 💖

We’re incredibly grateful for our amazing community! Last Friday, our residents experienced a day full of joy and adventure, thanks to everyone who made dreams come true. From convertible rides, off-road adventures, police cars, classic cars, to Harley rides — their smiles and laughter told the story. Special thanks to MLS Power Sports, Cynthiana Police Department, Sadler Trucking, Darlene Miles, Wally and Karen Barnes, Tammy Marsh, and our dedicated staff. You all made it unforgettable! 🚗✨

Annette and Bonnie had traveled the world together. All fifty states, twenty four countries and 4 continents visiting the most famous places on the planet. After 22 years of world travels they had to slow down a bit but continued to meet annually at Natural Bridge State Park for lunch together at the Hemlock Lodge. Their last visit at the lodge was more than 10 years ago and it has been 3 years since last seeing each other, although they speak on the phone frequently and reminisce of their travels and time together.
At Cedar Ridge Annette shares, with staff and friends, her stories of traveling the world and her time with her friend Bonnie. The memories she shares make us all want a special friendship with adventures to always remember. We decided to grant Annette with a Live A Dream for National Dreams are Possible Day. We surprised Annette with a trip back to Natural Bridge State Park, picking Bonnie up along the way. After a delicious meal at the Hemlock Lodge these two 86 year old ladies took a ride on the Skylift up to the Natural Bridge, with some Trilogy teamwork hiking along the way. The ladies spent the rest of their evening resting and cherishing their time together in a cottage at the state park. Annette and Bonnie now have another incredible trip to add to their list. This trip wasn’t just about granting a dream for Annette. It was about adding to her story.

We had the opportunity to take part in a wonderful grant with Joy for All. We were able to allow our residents to adopt a therapeutic robotic cat or dog. The smiles and giggles that filled the room when the cuddles began was so refreshing. Residents who adopted the cats and dogs got to name them and received an adoption certificate. What a wonderful day!
