Two rooms. One calling.

Last Friday I walked into the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and had to pause. There is something sacred about being in a room where decisions are made and knowing God put you there on purpose.

I was honored to be invited to speak at the Federal Reserve Private Roundtable and the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses AI Selling event, representing Emmanuel Environmental Services LLC and the KLD family.

One message stayed with me, from Dr. Pamela Nelson:
“Growth rarely stalls for lack of opportunity. It stalls because we say yes to too much of it.”

Caregivers, that is your word too. We say yes to everyone and last to ourselves. Your wellness is not a reward for finishing the to-do list. It is the foundation everything else is built on.

Happy Monday, beloved community! 🙏🏽

This morning I want to take you back to one of the most powerful moments in the life of Joseph.

Pharaoh has summoned him. He's been pulled out of prison, cleaned up, and brought before the most powerful man in the known world. Pharaoh says: "I've heard you can interpret dreams."

And Joseph — who had every human reason to promote himself — says this:

👉 "It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace." — Genesis 41:16

That answer changed everything. And it's the answer that should shape how we walk into every Monday, every boardroom, every patient room, every business meeting.

Joseph was blessed whether he was in the pit, in slavery, in prison, or on the throne. His ZIP code never determined his anointing — because he built his life on God, not his circumstances.

The same is true for you.

If we don't build our lives, our families, our businesses unto the Lord — we labor in vain. Our results come from Him. Our testimony glorifies Him.

So whatever you're walking into this week — a tough conversation, a big opportunity, a slow season, a breakthrough moment — do it in His name:

✨ "Whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in Jesus' name, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
— Colossians 3:17

Walk into this week surrendered. Walk into it with confidence. Walk into it knowing your Source. 💙

Happy Friday! 🙏🏾 What a joy it was to serve at the Alan E. Sims Recreation Center’s 22nd Anniversary Vendor & Community Showcase last Saturday. Four wonderful hours of handshakes, hugs, and laughter with our Cedar Hill neighbors.

There’s no reason to rush when God has the timing perfectly worked out. “For still the vision awaits its appointed time.” — Habakkuk 2:3

So keep taking one step after another with bold faith and courageous intention. All you’ve envisioned and imagined is waiting for you up ahead.

Until then, keep showing up. Every step is leading you closer to the life He’s called you to live.

We pray for the shaking to stop. Sometimes God is the one shaking it. 🌍

To be prepared for the promise, we’re processed in the desert. Jacob’s triumph, Joseph’s rise, Moses’ calling, Peter’s boldness, Paul’s ministry — every one of them came through the trial, not around it.

“In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory.” — Haggai 2:6-7

If your foundation is shaking this week — it might not be collapse. It might be construction. 🙏🏾

Twice, Jesus told the disciples to get in the boat. Both times, the storm hit hard enough to make grown fishermen fear for their lives. 🌊

Here’s what we’re left with:

If Jesus told you to get in the boat — and He’s in the boat with you — you’re good. He can calm any threat. He can overcome any chaos.

And when you’re walking through the wind and the waves, like Peter did — you only start to sink when you take your eyes off Jesus and put them on the storm.

“Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?” — Mark 4:41

Whatever storm you’re in this week — He’s still in the boat. 🙏🏾
