☀️🏊 Don’t Let Swimmer’s Ear Ruin Your Summer! 👂💦

If you’ve been swimming and notice:
• Ear pain (especially when you touch or pull on your ear)
• Itching inside the ear
• Redness or swelling
• Drainage from the ear
• Muffled hearing

You could have swimmer’s ear, an infection of the outer ear canal that’s commonly caused by water trapped in the ear.

💙 Prevention Tips:
✔️ Dry your ears thoroughly after swimming or showering.
✔️ Avoid putting cotton swabs or other objects in your ears.
✔️ Ask your healthcare provider if ear-drying drops are right for you after swimming (they aren’t appropriate for everyone). (CDC)
