A simple test to try at home see if you have good ankle mobility.
Why does this matter? Limited ankle mobility CAN (not will) contribute to movement compensations such as poor squat depth, excessive foot pronation, knee valgus, Achilles irritation, plantar fascia stress, and increased load through the knee or hip.
By identifying restrictions early, we can target the right mobility, soft tissue, strength, and motor-control strategies to improve movement quality and reduce some risk factors associated with joints that move like 💩.
