Over the years , True REST Float Spa • Columbus & Powell has helped us along with many clients over the years on recovery ❤️‍🩹. It’s an amazing organization that helps many including veteran to first responders heal to actually get rest 😴. Every time I go , I actually sleep 🛌 for days afterwards. The floating helps ease my scattered 🧠 and has helped myself and many bounce back. They also have oxygen bars to other treatments for those that have a busy life style. If you actually do research on organizations like True REST Float Spa • Columbus & Powell , they care about their clients being fully rested and healed. As a combat wounded veteran , health care worker , and first responder ⛑️, I highly recommend them ! They have specials for veterans, first responders, and other options as well! We always support small businesses including ones that help many heal and recover! 🫀🧠🫁 🫀🧠

Having a client of ours show us some industrial 🏭 medicine 💊. We also had the opportunity to try Duct-Aid Products as well! Pretty neat concept with the Duct aid. It’s basically a duct tape splint / medical tape. Thus, had students try it on me and others. We also tried make shift splitting to basic trauma first aid make shift medicine as well! Usually in the industrial work place including blue collar , people get hurt all the time at factories, distribution centers, farm land, chemical plants, and the list goes on. Some organizations actually have on site EMTs, medics, nurses, and sometimes doctors. We actually had a former student who was a KBR fire medic in Iraq War early days work not only at Warzone airports but, he also works / still works as a Oil rig medic to medic / ems in various vacation spots around the globe. Industrial ems is a thing too and it’s pretty much remote medicine where you are the only single provider kinda like being a IDC corpsman or the only medic/ medical provider for miles . All in all, great classes, great staff/ instructors, and great students ! More to come and never stop learning daily ! 🫀🧠🫁 🫀🧠🫁

We showed students how to pack wounds in the light and in the dark. Crawl, walk, and run is a method many use for training and it was fun teaching it in Spanish with Mat! ! We also added noises , music 🎵, and other distractions to see if they focus on wound packing and treating the wounds wild there’s other things going on. Phokus Research Group along with other products made this happen too with their products that are built to last to train many to save lives 💥 🩸 🏥 . All in all. Want to take the time to thank kbsspp for giving me a “tournicat” badge holder . For those of us who are in health care , emergency medicine 💊, first responder, combat medicine and etc, this is awesome ! North American Rescue and North American Rescue make the CAT tourniquets which are the best in the world in my opinion. CAT stands for combat application tourniquet which again, has a cat 🐈 logo on it as well if it’s the real deal / you can look it up. Definitely check kbsspp YouTube Channel KRedreads which , she reads children’s books 📚 and her voice is very soothing. I do need to make more shout out posts to more supporters over the years and we love getting stuff like this! We also support small businesses globally as well! Teaching anatomy to crics and even inthbation in Spanish . Students from all over love seeing stuff like this because, it hands on that makes sense for any medical classes. You have to know basic anatomy to understand what’s going on with the body. Pig 🐷 parts, goats, apes and other animals have the same anatomy as us hence, why surgeons use pig parts for heart surgeries and etc.All in all , great classes and great work / bravo Zulu to all involved ! Training like this goes a long way and we they do the hands on along with feeling the organs with fake blood 🩸, it goes a long way to save lives / big picture. For all my Spanish speakers , how did he do teaching how to apply a tourniquet? You will be surprised , not everyone around the world 🌎has never seen various medical supplies including tourniquets. We actually have tourniquets around the globe 🌏 we collected over the years and of course , CAT tourniquets are pretty universal and robust however , never assume people know how to use it or apply it . But for all my providers to responders from Venezuela 🇻🇪, how do you think he did teaching how to apply tourniquet? We also trained Venezuela to Cuban first responders to Docotors years ago down south to furthers South and it’s amazing how this training can be universal if you allow it to be ! Everyone around the globe no matter what you believe it , who you are, or how old are you, everyone should have basic first aid , cpr, and trauma knowledge! Muy bien to students , instructors and staff on making classes fun in different languages! So far over the years , we taught in Arabic, Pashtun , Somalian , Spanish, Portuguese, Yiddish, English and other languages over the years. Giving credit where it’s due and I learned this from Brian Graves with using organs like this and a lot of this is from Brian’s PHTLS to other classes. Brian is a solid paramedic and I worked with him along with his family for a few years down southern Ohio. Stuff like this made me better at ems, contracting, health care, teaching / instructing and beyond. Showing how the body works especially organs that are similar to humans . Fun fact , heart surgeons actually use pig 🐷 parts for heart surgery to other animals to donors that save lives ! Again, these are pig organs from a butcher shop and stuff like this helps students understand anatomy, interventions like cric s / lots of medics prefer crics on organs vs dummies , intubation, and other life saving techniques related to military to civilian medicine 💊. Training like this goes a long way and we had former students state that organ training like this helped them save lives after the fact. But basically, we’re showing how parts like the heart have blood flow to other neat stuff . But if you need emt, paramedic, PTHLS , ITLS , and other ems certs, Brian’s the guy to know and he’s fun to work Fire / ems with as well! More training like this needs to be done at med school, nursing, ems/ fire, and military. Not many do training like this anymore and this training, goes along way with “big picture” passing knowledge that can / will save lives ! 🫀🧠🫁 🫀🧠🫁jcrowconsultllc 🫀🧠

Great classes yet again ! We taught a few recently in Spanish and other languages as well! Shout out to Mat! , Heath, and others making this happen as well ! Also, want to give Grizzly Medical a shout out as well and hope Dan who’s a solid combat medic who to Iraq , Ukraine, and other places over the years . We hopeDan has a speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹 ! Students along with instructors Over the years, appreciate the lungs 🫁, hearts, and tracheas that is given us in order to spread hands on medical knowledge that works ! This training helps enhance training along with making it a fun hands on ! We had feedback from students saving lives over the years because of the hands on training we provide which goes a long way / big picture. All in all, we love the feedback every time we do hands on training like this. Rather than having airway dummies a bunch of people cric, cut, intubate, and etc a million times, why not have the real deal and get it right rather than “death by power point”. Great job everyone who was involved and I need to work on my Spanish but, I learned as well which, that’s all the matters. If you learn something new daily, then the day is not fully wasted . Teaching CPR / First aid classes in Spanish with Mat! and others ! Great class and I actually learned a few things myself even though, I spent nearly two years in Cuba 🇨🇺. We also were involved over the years teaching Venezuelan first responders to civilians over the years especially, what’s going on down there currently 🇻🇪 🔥. We try to make classes fun with hands on as well. As long as out students to our staff including instructors have fun 🤩, that’s all that matters . More to come and time to train / adapt 🫀🧠🫁 🫀🧠

During training yesterday, had to explain to the students / client why glove size and color matter . Black gloves 🧤 though tactical , cool, and cheap sometimes, there’s always pro to cons with any life saving gear . The pro is they come in all sizes , some are actually cheap $ to buy, and some are actually found compress in med kits like ifaks / Jfaks like with ones in North American Rescue , Rescue Essentials , Phokus Research Group , and other med kits/ suppliers . For cool guy points , you look high speed with them or even for the UFC, thw refs to cutman / coach’s have medical to fighting experience rock them as well. Actually, I worked a few fighting events to grappling tournaments seeing coach’s to refs rocking these gloves. Seems also in the tactical medicine community as well, people like these gloves as well. But there’s some draw backs to these gloves. For example, if you’re working in the dark, it’s hard to tell if it’s blood 🩸 or not with low light and etc. Also, it’s hard to see with red light to blue light if you’re trying to be a sneaky ninja 🥷 while rendering aid to people in combat / I know from personal experience/ had to switch to white light / bad guys already knew where we were. There’s also a saying we say in health care / ems, “if it’s wet and sticky, probably shouldn’t be there”. That means when you’re doing blood sweeps with gloves like these in low light / visibility, never assume it’s what you think it is / again personal experience. Cracks me up when I see people trying to “sniff for blood 🩸 “ too. I have terrible sinuses and trying to sniff for blood / “copper smell “👃 is hard with gloves like these or , if you’re wearing a mask in a swat raid or have terrible smell like me. Again , the biggest take away from this is never assume when doing an assessment with tools like this especially head to toe assessments to blood sweeps. Always check front , back and sides of the human body while doing heat to assent because , I have seen people miss exit wounds to additional injuries / again personal experience. All in all, I used gloves like this in training and the real deal and again, each tool out there has its pros and cons. 🧠 🩸 ❤️
