We’re kicking off our month-long adventure to Australia with a little Hawkeye Happy Hour! 🍹✨

A huge thank you to Kim from Hawkeye Care Center for joining us and mixing up some fun Australian-inspired mocktails for our residents! From delicious drinks to great conversation and plenty of smiles, it was the perfect way to start our Aussie adventure. 💚

We may not have made it all the way to Australia but we sure had a good time! 🌏

🍔💛 Lunch for a Cause THANK YOU!💛🍔

We may not have gotten *nearly enough pictures* from our Lunch for a Cause because apparently we were too busy serving, eating, visiting, and having a good time! 😂

A HUGE thank you to Janet and Tara with Home Instead for helping support us for our FIRST (of many) Lunch for a Cause Events! Also another Thank You to those who donated their time, helped prepare and serve the meal, donated items, and helped spread the word. We truly couldn’t have done it without you! 🫶

And to everyone who stopped by, enjoyed lunch, and made a free-will donation THANK YOU! Your generosity means so much, and we are grateful for every single person who supported our cause. ❤️

It was so wonderful to see our community come together, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!

African Drum Circle with Deb Stevens at Sunset Park Place, Dubuque, Iowa

Our journey through Africa has been filled with unforgettable experiences! 🌍🥁

On Monday, we learned about the rich history of African drums through a fascinating documentary, discovering how skilled craftsmen create the djembe and how these incredible instruments were once used to communicate across villages.

Today, we had the privilege of experiencing an authentic drum circle led by the wonderful Deb Stevens. She shared her beautiful drums from Africa, along with a variety of percussion instruments, giving everyone the opportunity to make music together and "touch" a piece of Africa.

The room was filled with rhythm, smiles, laughter, and connection. Thank you, Deb, for sharing your time, talents, and passion with us. It was truly a memorable experience! ❤️🌍🥁
