For Anaplasma patients, we highly recommend NutriRestore's Liver Support.

Liver Support contains silymarin (aka, milk thistle) and Oregon grape. Many people know that milk thistle is excellent for the liver, but you can enhance the benefits by adding Oregon grape. These two ingredients are incredibly effective at supporting and stimulating the liver. Liver Support also contains yellow dock, which aids patients in emptying their bowels.

Have you ever wondered why you feel wide awake at 10 p.m. but struggle to get out of bed the next morning, or why your energy crashes every afternoon despite getting what seems like enough sleep?

Many people assume these issues are simply the result of high or low cortisol, but in reality, the bigger question is whether your cortisol is released at the right times throughout the day.

Learn more about cortisol levels and your circadian rhythm from Dr. Paul in this week's article: https://restorativehealthsolutions.com/blog/functional-medicine/cortisol-and-circadian-rhythm/

There are natural remedies for gastritis.

Many herbs can be beneficial for conditions like gastritis that can help heal and restore damaged stomach lining and ease digestive troubles.

DGL: Deglycyrrhizinated licorice, or DGL, has been found to be effective in relieving minor GI discomfort.

Marshmallow root: Marshmallow root is a traditional soothing herb with a long history of use for coating the gastric lining.

Aloe vera concentrate: Aloe vera concentrate is beneficial to the gastric mucosa due in part to its ability to balance stomach acid levels and promote healthy mucus production. It is also considered a soothing herb.

Slippery elm bark: Slippery elm bark is a traditional soothing herb that has been used for centuries.

Zinc carnosine: Zinc carnosine supports gastrointestinal integrity and permeability, healthy cellular metabolism, and DNA integrity.

Supportive of a wide variety of health-related issues, ALA recharges vitamin E, vitamin C, glutathione, and CoQ10.

This formulation of lipoic acid contains 300 mg of ALA and 300 mcg of biotin to protect against loss of biotin as a result of the competition of the two.

Alpha lipoic acid benefits:

🔵 Provides fat-soluble and water-soluble antioxidant protection
🔵 Protects the neurovascular system from free radical damage
🔵 Supports blood sugar balance already within normal levels

Ninety-three percent of people with chronic Lyme disease are also fighting at least one co-infection.

Let that sink in.

This is often why people go on to develop Lyme chronically; their immune systems can't fight Lyme on their own because of being bombarded with multiple attacks.
This is also why accurate, thorough testing is so necessary when Lyme is a possibility. You can also be fighting co-infections and not have Lyme disease.

Good, reliable testing checks for multiple species of Borrelia (not just B. burgdorferi) and multiple species of each co-infection.

Many people experience stomach discomfort at some point in their lives. Burning pain, nausea, bloating, or a gnawing feeling in the upper abdomen can all be frustrating, distressing, and confusing symptoms.

When these symptoms continue, two conditions often presented as possible causes are gastritis and stomach ulcers.

But how can you tell the difference between gastritis and an ulcer?

Learn more about gastritis and ulcers from Dr. Paul in this week's article: https://restorativehealthsolutions.com/blog/gut-health/gastritis-vs-ulcers/
