It’s about becoming discerning about what gets access to you.
Not every invitation deserves a yes.
Not every misunderstanding requires an explanation.
Not every opinion deserves a response.
And not everyone is entitled to your energy simply because they know how to reach you.
Peace gets expensive when you’ve spent years giving it away to keep other people comfortable.
Eventually, you learn:
Your nervous system is sacred territory.
Protecting your peace may disappoint people who benefited from your lack of boundaries.
Let them be disappointed.
You don’t have to attend every argument you’re invited to.
