Unfortunately, many people see the scale jump after the weekend and immediately panic. They slash calories, spend hours doing cardio, eliminate carbs, and beat themselves up over a number that doesn't actually represent fat gain.
At Fit Solutions, I encourage a different approach.
Weigh yourself consistently—ideally each morning under the same conditions—but don't obsess over the daily number. Instead, pay attention to your weekly average. That's where the real trend is.
If your weekly average is slowly climbing and your goal is fat loss, there's no need for drastic measures. Often, a simple adjustment of 200–300 calories per day is enough to get progress moving again.
Fitness isn't about punishment—it's about understanding how your body works and making smart, consistent decisions over time.
Trust the process. Stay consistent. Let the trends—not your emotions—guide your decisions.
