The McLeod Angels and the McLeod Circle of Excellence Young Giving Society in Florence and the North Myrtle Beach Rotary Club joined with HOPE (Helping Oncology Patients Everyday) Fund to purchase “Port Shirts,” reminding cancer patients they are not alone.

The first port shirt was offered to a patient in March 2025. Now, over a year later, more than 200 patients have received specialized port access shirts in Florence. In recent months, patients at the McLeod Center for Cancer Treatment and Research in Horry County have also begun receiving these special shirts.
