As we head into summer, consider this your friendly laser reminder: yes, you can absolutely do laser treatments during the summer months but sun protection is non negotiable!! ☀️ 🧴

A fresh sunburn, tanning, or skipping sunscreen can interfere with your treatment results and increase the risk of unwanted side effects. In other words, if you’re investing in your skin, protect that investment. 👏

SPF every day, reapply often, wear a hat when you can, and keep your laser provider happy. Your results will thank you. 😉

Bruising after injectables is so common and honestly, sometimes unavoidable. 💉

When a needle is being placed into the skin, there’s always a chance it can nick a tiny blood vessel, even with the best technique. That’s why no injector can ever promise “no bruising.” Some people bruise easily, some don’t bruise at all, and sometimes it just depends on the day!

If you have a wedding, vacation, photoshoot, or big event coming up, we always recommend planning your injectable appointments a few days to even a week in advance just in case bruising or swelling happens. Better safe than stressed the day before your event. 😉

Pro tip: avoiding alcohol, blood thinners (if medically appropriate), and intense workouts right before appointments may also help minimize bruising!
