A lot of families put off reaching out because they're not sure what happens after they do.

The truth is, your first visit at LightHouse WholeHealth is less about having all the answers and more about giving us a chance to listen.

We start with a short phone consultation so we can understand what's going on and make sure we're setting you up with the right support from the start.

From there, your first appointment is about meeting your therapist, completing an initial assessment, and building a plan that actually fits your child and your family — not a one-size-fits-all checklist.

You don't have to have it all figured out before you call. That's what we're here for.

And when you're ready, we'd love to hear from you.

Wiggle Wednesday is here! 🐛

Movement is one of the most powerful tools kids have — and most of the time they don't even know they're using it. When children get the right kind of movement throughout their day, everything from focus to emotional regulation to social confidence tends to follow.

Our OT team at LightHouse WholeHealth works with kids every day to build that foundation.

If your child isn’t opening up, it doesn’t mean nothing is going on—it often means they don’t yet have the words to express it.

Play therapy creates a space where children can process emotions, experiences, and challenges in a way that feels natural and safe to them.

It’s not just play—it’s a thoughtful, guided approach that helps children build confidence, emotional skills, and a stronger sense of security.

If talking hasn’t worked, it may just mean your child needs a different way to be heard.

A “good day” doesn’t mean everything went perfectly.

Sometimes it’s a little less stress, a little more understanding, or one moment that feels easier than the last.

This Mental Health Month, we’re focusing on More Good Days, Together, because those small shifts matter.

At Lighthouse, we’re here to support children, families, couples, and individuals in building more of those moments, one step at a time.

Confidence doesn’t come from pushing kids to try harder.

It comes from helping them feel capable in the moments that matter—getting through routines, navigating play, and handling things that once felt overwhelming.

When children build the underlying skills, confidence starts to follow naturally.

That’s the focus of occupational therapy at Lighthouse. We support your child's growth in a way that feels steady, personalized, and meaningful for them.

When something feels off at home, it’s rarely just one person. It’s something the whole family is navigating together.

Family counseling isn’t about placing blame or “fixing” one person. It’s about creating space for understanding, connection, and healthier ways of communicating.

With the right support, families can move through challenges together in a way that feels more connected, calm, and sustainable.

You don’t have to carry it all on your own.

Visit lhhealththerapies.com to book a session.

Meet Alexandra Gray.

Alexandra brings a calm, supportive presence to her work, helping clients navigate challenges in a way that feels approachable and personalized.

She works with children, adults, and older adults 60+ who may be moving through things like past experiences, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed.

Her approach is collaborative and meets people where they are, meaning you’re not expected to have everything figured out. Together, you’ll build understanding, develop tools that actually work in your day-to-day life, and move toward feeling more grounded and supported.

Alexandra is also trained in EMDR and may incorporate this into sessions when it feels like the right fit.

She’s often joined by her certified therapy dog, Beans, whose gentle presence can help create a more relaxed and comfortable environment for those who prefer a companion during sessions.

Alexandra offers both in-person and virtual sessions. Book a session with her and meet the rest of the team at lhhealththerapies.com
