What I'm about to show you will completely change how you think about your digestion. Most women I work with have spent years focusing on the gut itself and that's exactly why they stay stuck
Here's what's actually happening. Your liver is your body's primary filtration system. Everything you eat, toxin you're exposed to, and more...
..it all has to be processed by the liver.
When I was in school, it was dismissed as anything remotely important because that's the job it does. It is the filter so we don't need to pay attention to it.
However, taking a more functional, integrative, holistic approach and seeing problems arise makes me look at things differently. The liver needs certain nutrients to thrive. So, we absolutely do need to pay attention to it and nourish it so it can show up for us.
When the liver is sluggish, or overburdened (which is extremely common in high-achieving, chronically stressed women, it cannot properly:
-Break down bile to support healthy digestion
-Clear excess hormones like estrogen
-Filter out inflammatory triggers from food
The result? Bloating that won't quit. Alternating constipation and diarrhea. Hormonal shifts that feel random. I see this so often.
So here's the thing. If you're only treating the gut and no one is looking at the liver, you're not getting the full picture. And, an incomplete picture means incomplete results.
When I started focusing on more than just the gut with myself and my clients, and shifted my focus to the interconnectedness of the whole body, the results were remarkable.
Most gut health approaches are designed to manage symptoms, not uncover what's actually driving them.
The conventional approach goes something like this: you get diagnosed, you're told to avoid certain foods, maybe take a med, and "manage" your stress. I see it all the time.
But here's what's missing from that conversation and keeps women stuck.
No one tests for what foods are triggering your gut, specifically, or focuses on the inflammatory reactions.
No one connects the dots between stress, sleep, posture, pelvic floor, and gut function. All of which directly impact how your digestive system performs.
So you keep trying new things. You keep getting partial results. You keep thinking you're the one doing something wrong.
It's not you. It's an incomplete approach.
When we stop looking at the gut as an isolated organ and start looking at the full ecosystem of the body, that's when real transformation happens.
The liver is just one missing piece in the gut health conversation, and without it, even the best protocol can fall short.
Here's the thing: knowing this is just the starting point. The real question is what's specifically driving your inflammation? That's exactly what we uncover inside the Inflammation Impact Experience and take these conversations where they need to go. We map out a personalized path to gut restoration.
