Yesterday we got to celebrate our Clemson grad! After four years of hard work, our girl earned a BS in Microbiology and somehow managed to squeeze in being president of Clemson’s Honors Fraternity and the Mycology Club, plus VP and social media manager of the Neuroscience Club during her senior year.

If you’ve followed my blog, then you know that in addition to being wicked smart, she also loves to bake. She insisted on baking for her own graduation party and whipped up raspberry-filled vanilla bean mini cakes from scratch. They tasted even better than they looked.

Keeping with the microbio theme, she also made petri dish Jell-O shots designed to look like blood agar plates. How fun are they?! 🧫

So proud of this one. Her future is bright.

And that bottle of Pappy Van Winkle…it’s been saved for a long time to toast the end of college tuition! Cheers! 🥃
