This hand pump is severely underrated in my opinion. It is the only pump I used with my second baby. I only occasionally pumped, but it worked so well that I grabbed it over my spectra and wearable every time.

1️⃣Use your silicone insert or buy a replacement fl**ge in your size.
2️⃣Use the small lever to perform quick pulls to get your milk to flow/letdown to occur.
3️⃣Then switch to the big lever and perform slow pulls to help draw milk out.

This pump is highly efficient and cost effective. Comment MANUAL and I’ll send you a link! Send this to your mom friend so she can add it to her registry!

Does your milk separate once it has chilled in the fridge? It is completely normal, and it is 100% okay for you to shake it up and mix it back together🙂

Are you using a ni**le shield? They can be a helpful tool, but the goal is to wean from them if possible. Applying the shield in this manner creates more suction and allows the ni**le to take up more space inside—it should take up half or 3/4 of the shield when applied correctly. **leshield

Collecting colostrum—is it necessary? In my opinion, no. Can it be beneficial? In some cases, yes. But it can still be collected after baby is here, no need to do it ahead of time if you don’t want to.

It’s 2026 and we’re still telling moms that their baby is just “using them as a pacifier.” What I want every breastfeeding mom to know is that babies nurse at the breast for more reasons than just nutrition. They come to the breast for comfort, for pain relief, for temperature and nervous system regulation, to help them fall asleep, to help them with GI discomfort, and other reasons as well. Don’t let anyone tell you that your baby is manipulating you or “using you as a pacifier”, I promise you they’re not🤍

24mm is about the size of a quarter. Spoiler alert: I’ve never measured anyone at this size🫣 When I do fl**ge fittings, I find that a lot of moms fall somewhere between a 15-17mm. 17mm is the average size. So if you were told you’re a size 24, chances are you’re using too big of a fl**ge size. I provide fl**ge fittings during my consults to help take the guess work out for you! **gesize
