Today we’re celebrating the discharge of one of our student-athletes who came to us with left shoulder pain and limitations in mobility and range of motion that were affecting her volleyball performance.

During her time in physical therapy, we focused on improving her shoulder mobility, strength, stability, and overall function to help her safely return to the demands of volleyball. We’re so proud of her dedication, hard work and commitment throughout her time with us. Wishing her an amazing volleyball season ahead! 🏐

This tennis player came in with shoulder pain during serves and forehands. After assessing his movement, we found the bigger issue was his scapular mobility and mechanics.

What is Body Tempering? 🤔

This 50 lb cast-iron body tempering roller is a recovery tool that applies slow, consistent pressure to muscles that relieves tightness in the joints, muscles and fascia which improves comfort and movement, making it easier to perform the exercises that create lasting results.

At Strive Performance Physiotherapy, we use body tempering when it’s appropriate as part of a comprehensive treatment plan, not as a standalone fix.

Today marks the 2 year anniversary of opening Strive Performance Physiotherapy!
What started as a dream to serve our community with compassionate, personalized physical therapy has grown into something we are incredibly proud of. Over the last two years, we’ve had the privilege of helping amazing patients move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love.
