One of the reasons we use lavandin instead of traditional lavender in KPS Essentials products comes down to being intentional with every ingredient we choose.

Lavender is widely used in skincare and self-care products, but research has suggested that lavender mimics estrogen in the body. For individuals who are pregnant or going through oncology treatments, unnecessary exposure to hormone-mimicking ingredients may not be ideal.

We use lavandin to provide the anti-inflammatory and soothing botanical benefits people love, while being more mindful about the overall formulation and who may be using our products.
