People have been asking... how did it get healed up so fast... because trust me the pressure was on to get him healed as he really thought his face was going to stay scarred. Well the secret is Vaseline US and consistent wound care! Vaseline or White Petroleum is hypoallergenic and rarely causes irritation while your neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment has 3 different types of topical antibiotics and has a higher risk of causing contact dermatitis. Vaseline acts as a sealant and locks in moisture to provide an optimal environment for wound healing. Clinical studies have also shown that topical antibiotics do not provide an advantage over petroleum for wound healing. So this is why we recommend plain Vaseline or petroleum based products like Aquaphor after minor procedures or for treatment of scrapes/cuts.
