“Our son's first 2 years of life were spent in a state of being 'allergic to everything' which showed up as severe eczema all over his body. He was allergic/sensitive to most foods, animals, grasses, perfumes, scented candles and the list goes on.
He was almost 2 years old when we first learned of Perfect Balance Natural Health. He had been on oral steroids, topical steroids and the dermatologist wanted to start him on antibiotics but instead (since none of these had previously worked), I decided to take him to PBNH. Our first experience was a great one, although my mind was bewildered at the treatment. Because we are taught to only believe in traditional medicine and pharmaceuticals, it was a new learning experience to open our minds to other ways of healing. We decided to dive in and at least give it a good try to see if it could help. Within a few weeks of his first appointment and several allergy clearings with PBNH, he was improving. It was incredible to see! We were able to take the bandages off of his arms and legs (we had to keep gauze taped on so he wouldn't scratch his skin off and get infections-which was so uncomfortable for him, especially in the summer) and by the next summer he was actually wearing shorts! (Anyone with a child who suffers from eczema knows that this is a big deal.)
I remember for his second birthday thinking to myself what a miracle it would be if on a future birthday he could have a 'real' cupcake, one that was made with flour, milk and butter, instead of rice flour and rice milk, but not suffer any consequences...this came true by his 4th birthday...another miracle I could have never imagined!
Our treatment plan from ages 2 to 5 was intensive for the first few months and then tapered off. Our son is almost 6 years old now and only 2 food allergies remain (peanuts and sunflower seeds.) We are going to begin working on these and have no doubt that the results will be phenomenal.
