If yogurt helped you heal your gut or you found a probiotic supplement that helped you make all your gut symptoms go away … keep doing it. Amazing 🎉

But if you’ve been struggling with digestive symptoms for months or years, these strategies are often not enough.

And they may even backfire.

Yogurt has lactose and histamine.
Some probiotic strains release histamine.
Some probiotic supplements contain too strong prebiotics.

And sometimes adding more probiotics on top of a gut that’s got too much bacterial overgrowth is like adding fuel to a fire. 🔥

Lactose, prebiotics, and histamine are not bad. But if you can’t tolerate foods that contain them, it’s a sign your SYSTEM is not working properly.
