Confession: I was skeptical of mushroom coffee. Felt like one more wellness trend I didn’t have time for. 🍄☕

But I tried RYZE anyway, and I’m officially a convert.

Here’s what won me over — and as someone who actually studies this stuff for a living, I don’t fall for “wellness” easily:

✨ Jitter-free energy — I get through my morning without the shaky, wired feeling
✨ Real digestive support — my gut isn’t staging a protest before 9am
✨ Mental clarity — bonus points for remembering why I walked into the kitchen
✨ Stress relief + mood support — my nervous system approves
✨ Immune support, which I need with 3 kids and 2 dogs constantly bringing home germs

No sugar added, dairy free, ~50mg caffeine, 2000mg of mushrooms doing their thing per serving.

Is it a miracle cure? Nope.

BUT..it IS a genuinely solid swap for your regular brew, minus the crash.

I became a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner because “try harder” was never going to cut it for the women I work with.

There’s always a reason the body isn’t responding. Always. We just have to find it.

I’m not just a coach. I’m the person who looks deeper.

Curious about what labs and peptides could do for you? I put together a quick guide breaking down what I offer and how each one can help. Comment LABS below and I’ll send it straight to your DMs. 👇

Cute story…but “it’s just your age” was never actually an explanation, it was just the easiest thing to say.

Bloating isn’t something you’re just supposed to live with at 40+.

It’s information. And most women have never actually had anyone look at what’s causing it.

Here’s what I’m actually checking for when a client tells me she’s bloated daily:

• Low stomach acid (yes, even if you’re “eating healthy”)
• Bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine
• Food sensitivities that never got tested — gluten isn’t always the villain, sometimes it’s eggs, dairy, or things you eat every single day
• Fat and/or protein that is not being broken down properly
• A nervous system so stressed it cannot prioritize digestion

None of that shows up on a regular bloodwork panel. That’s some of what we can learn from a GI-MAP — it’s not guessing, it’s literally reading what’s happening in there.

You don’t need to “eat cleaner.”

You need to know what your gut is actually dealing with.

If you read this far, I’d love a follow — it tells me this kind of content is worth making more of. 🧡

Most women come to me having done everything “right” for months. The food is dialed. The workouts are consistent. And the scale has not moved.

What nobody thought to ask about was how you were sleeping. How you were recovering. How much of their day was spent running on cortisol and willpower.

This is exactly what functional lab testing shows me. Not just what you’re eating . . . but how your body is actually functioning underneath all that effort.

As a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, I’m not just a coach. I’m the person who looks deeper.

If this is you, DM me LABS and we’ll talk about where to start. 🧡

72% of Americans are overweight or obese.

Nearly half of women in their 40s are obese.

Most women your age are exhausted, inflamed, on multiple medications, and waking up tired every single day.

And we’re calling that normal.

So when you feel weird for meal prepping — that’s normal gaslighting you.

When you feel like the odd one out for prioritizing sleep — that’s normal gaslighting you.

When you feel guilty for wanting to lose weight and feel good in your body — that’s normal gaslighting you.

Normal is not neutral. Normal is a low bar dressed up like a standard.

Think about every meaningful thing in your life that came from going against the grain.

Your business. Your faith. How you’re raising your kids.

None of that was normal either.

Your health deserves the same energy.

You were never built for normal. Stop letting it convince you that you were.

Follow along if you refuse to settle for normal. 🤡🙃 💪

The stress you bring to the table is doing more damage than anything on the menu.

I know because I used to be that woman. Googling menus in advance. Skipping lunch to “save room.” Doing mental math through every course. Leaving dinner feeling guilty instead of grateful.

Here’s the belief shift that changed everything for me:

The stress response your body has around food does more metabolic damage than the food itself.

Cortisol spikes. Digestion slows. You’re sitting across from people you love and your nervous system thinks you’re under attack.

That is not a fat loss strategy.

I went out twice this weekend. Ordered what I wanted. Enjoyed every single bite. Left both meals feeling energized and proud. (and didn’t have to wash any dishes)

My client who went to a BBQ last week that would have normally sent her into a spiral told me she felt completely confident and stress free the entire time.

Not because she had a perfect plan. Because she had finally learned how to show up for herself.

That version of you exists too.

Comment DINNER and I’ll send you my exact eating out guidelines so you can enjoy your next meal out without the guilt, the stress, or the mental math. 🧡

Her protocol didn’t start with macros.

It started with stomach acid.

That’s what root cause coaching actually looks like.

If you’ve been told your symptoms are just part of getting older and something in you doesn’t believe that — trust that feeling.

Your body is not failing you. It’s talking to you.

Comment the symptom you’ve been told is “just perimenopause.” Let’s talk about what it might actually be. 🧡

The fastest way to stop tracking macros forever is to start tracking them now. 🎯

Here’s exactly how I walk my clients through it:

Step 1: Track for just 3 days. Every bite, lick and taste. Use MyFitnessPal, measure in grams, and choose 2 weekdays + 1 weekend day. No changes yet. Just data.

Step 2: Find your averages. Take those 3 days and calculate your average calories, protein, fat and carbs. This is your baseline. This is what your body has actually been working with. Eye opening every single time.

Step 3: Hit your protein target. Take your bodyweight and multiply it by .7. That’s your daily protein goal in grams. Don’t try to get there overnight — aim for it over time WHILE keeping your total calories the same. This one shift changes your entire macro ratio and by default starts crowding out the excess carbs and fat. No restriction. Just recalibration.

Step 4: Assess and adjust. Once you’re consistently hitting protein, look at what’s been happening with your body weight. If you want to drop fat, now you reduce carbs and/or fat slightly — and/or add more daily steps. Simple levers. Pull one at a time.

Is there nuance beyond this? Yes. A lot of it. This is the high level version and it works — but the magic is in the details, which is exactly what I go deep on with my clients inside Metabolic Makeover.

If you want help figuring out YOUR numbers and actually making this stick — DM me the word MACROS and let’s talk. 👇

Save this. Come back to it. Your future self who isn’t obsessing over food anymore will thank you. 🙌
