It’s never too late to build strength!

Lie comfortably on the floor or bed holding a dumbbell in each hand. Start with your elbows and dumbbells touching the surface. Bend your elbows to 90 degrees, then gently press the dumbbells toward the ceiling. Complete 20–30 repetitions or as many as you can with good form.

✨ Engage your core.
✨ Relax your shoulders and neck.
✨ Keep your body aligned.
✨ Move slowly and breathe steadily.

💪 Chest muscles

💪 Triceps (back of the arms)

Hold a 4-pound medicine ball and alternate touching the ball to each knee. Focus on lifting your knees high to meet the ball. Complete 20–30 total repetitions.

How many circles can you do without putting your foot down?

Stand tall and place a massage roller on the floor. Lift your right leg and make controlled circular movements over the roller without touching the floor. Challenge your balance, then switch to the other leg.

✨ Engage your core.

✨ Hold onto a chair or countertop if needed for support.

Also known as duck squats, sumo squats are a fantastic functional fitness exercise for adults 70+.

Place a roller in front of you. With a wide stance and toes slightly turned out, lower into a sumo squat and touch the roller to encourage a straight back. Complete 15–20 repetitions with control.

✨ Engage your core.
✨ Relax your shoulders and neck.
✨ Keep your chest lifted and body straight.
✨ Move at your own pace.

💪 Quadriceps
💪 Glutes
💪 Inner thighs (adductors)
💪 Hamstrings
