Clinical Observations in the Texas Medical Center at Memorial Hermann Health System, which now has an ACC Accredited EP LAB, start in our first month. In one day, four of our students saw 4 ablation procedures (2 PVI, CTI & 2 VT), a left atrial appendage closure, a PFO closure, a dual chamber pacemaker and a leadless pacemaker. They watch in the procedure room while learning from UTHealth physicians, industry professionals and AHP's.

Thank you to GE HealthCare, Neal Tharp & Madeleine Diagne and Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Yaser Azzam, BSHM, RDCS, RVT & Trung Vu for their presentation on the Vivid Pioneer imaging technology and the trans-septal puncture procedure using ICE. Imaging technologies are becoming more critical to successful EP and SH procedures. Our students benefitted greatly!
