Ways to support yourself during the winter slump
✨ Prioritize light
Get outside during daylight when you can, open curtains first thing, or try a light therapy lamp.
✨ Keep your body moving (gently)
Short walks, stretching, or slow workouts count. Movement boosts mood without draining you.
✨ Create small comforts
Warm drinks, cozy blankets, calming music, candles — comfort is not indulgent, it’s care.
✨ Stick to simple routines
Anchor your day with 1–2 non-negotiables (wake time, meals, meds, skincare).
✨ Stay connected
Even brief check-ins matter. Text a friend, plan a low-pressure hangout.
✨ Nourish yourself
Eat regularly, hydrate, and don’t aim for “perfect” — aim for enough.
✨ Be kind to your expectations
Winter is a slower season. You’re allowed to rest more and do less.
✨ Ask for help when needed
If symptoms feel heavy or persistent, a therapist or doctor can help — you don’t have to do this alone.
🤍 You’re not broken — you’re human in a hard season.
